Cal, Auburn, and Vols all in NIT?

Yep if Zo had a couple more seasons....I had no doubt it would have been

Had as many top 150 players coming in, in the 2014 class, along with Thompson, as Tyndall currently has on the roster, seems like Zo's recruits would've been a talent upgrade over the current makeup.

Coming from you that first statement is beyond comical

No it's not .....I have always said the exact same things....it's about building a program....we need to have a coach that can make the tourney two out of every three yrs....and consistently get top 20-25 classes....I will be just as down on donnie as I was Zo when I feel he has no clue how to build a program.

You mean stokes and maymon.

He hasn't gotten any better playing under DT, he's just been forced to contribute more due to the roster

AM has been allowed to contribute more. Last staff had him on the bench for the first 2/3rds of last year. He was very important in the late season run.

yet 0/3 and he'd still have your support? Yes, THAT, is comical.

That highly rated class was still rated lower than what CDT brought in.....Zo's recruiting was horrible and all over the place....it was obvious he had no clue what he was doing.

During the Tournament, I actually was starting to come around a little on Zo. Of course, right when I started to think he might be successful here, he leaves.

Agree. Unfortunately, CCM didn't realize until late in the Michigan game that Moore was a better defensive match up than Maymon.

If he looks like he is building us toward being great then I will be fine....if he looks like he struggles to get talent and the pieces aren't fitting then I will want him run out of town....u r asking me to predict something when I don't know all the variables.

I thought he earned another yr but I felt this yr we would bottom out pretty bad bc of his poor recruiting....no matter anyone's opinion, the coach can always prove us wrong...that's his job.

Ok. I didn't say that he didn't deserve more minutes. I just don't see how he's any better off. Stokes and maymon had more to do with his PT than Martin

I disagree with that.....I don't think Moore fit Zo's system at all...he is doing good for us but would struggle in most systems playing PF

He playing completely out of position this year by necessity. I'd hardly call it a good fit

I mean I feel that is best position and we are one of the few teams he could play that position......he does not have a strong enough handle or shot to be an above avg small forward

He played it a decent amount last year. And was more effective. Although that's also a function of the team around him. In fact he improved the most while playing under martin between his first and second year. The fact he deserved more PT is a testament to his development.

If anyone should pick a player who really does seem to be better off under tyndall it is Reese. He was going backwards -if that's even possible - under martin.

I don't believe in all this developing players talk so I wasn't meaning that....I feel that neither Moore nor Reese fit in Martins system just like Dane would have been nothing but a 3rd string pg if he didn't get to play in controlled chaos.
