Coming from you that first statement is beyond comical
No it's not .....I have always said the exact same things....it's about building a program....we need to have a coach that can make the tourney two out of every three yrs....and consistently get top 20-25 classes....I will be just as down on donnie as I was Zo when I feel he has no clue how to build a program.
Had as many top 150 players coming in, in the 2014 class, along with Thompson, as Tyndall currently has on the roster, seems like Zo's recruits would've been a talent upgrade over the current makeup.
yet 0/3 and he'd still have your support? Yes, THAT, is comical.
During the Tournament, I actually was starting to come around a little on Zo. Of course, right when I started to think he might be successful here, he leaves.
I mean I feel that is best position and we are one of the few teams he could play that position......he does not have a strong enough handle or shot to be an above avg small forward
He played it a decent amount last year. And was more effective. Although that's also a function of the team around him. In fact he improved the most while playing under martin between his first and second year. The fact he deserved more PT is a testament to his development.
If anyone should pick a player who really does seem to be better off under tyndall it is Reese. He was going backwards -if that's even possible - under martin.
