Like his huddle soft hands and runs good routes 6”5 220 as a sr is solid I can see him trending similar to J warren but he is more athletic than warren at this stage. Position of need…

Someone said he measured in at over 6'6" on his visit this past weekend
Big if True he can be a very dangerous weapon with his skill set with some added weight… I like the big plays his film… generally the state California is good to us and I’m hoping Nico furthers the trend… wish we had castles for another year but this could be what 4 years of castles may have looked like anyway…

This kid is very much under the radar.
He plays for Juniper Serra HS in San Mateo

Serra has become the dominant program in North Cal.
Ala ¨De La Salle. As a matter of fact they have beaten De La Salle 3 straight seasons.
2020 (5-0)
2021 (11-2 revenge win against the 1st loss, then walloped by Mater Dei)
2022 (13-1 walloped by St John Bosco)
2023 (13-1 Walloped by Mater Dei)
So basically they have been the Northern California Sectional State Champions 4 years in a row.
3 of their 4 losses in 4 years have been to National Champion high school caliber teams.
ThatĹ› tough!

If Serra were in Texas, Georgia or Florida they would be nationally ranked state champions.
They got all the way up to #19 in the country this season. But Mater Dei is just waaaay to talented and beat them 35-0 in the North vs South State Championship.

This kid is polished and is used to catching the football. He loves blocking too.
He will be push Ethan Davis and the Notre Dame transfer. HeĹ› not the athlete the either of them are, but dude competes and will get strong in a hurry

People like @BigOrangeTrain , just really need to shut up sometimes.

He's a very fluid athlete for a TE. He doesn't look mechanical or clunky running routes. Like you said, he's very polished as a route runner for a TE. He'll just need to add size to his frame and learn to play in-line on the SEC level as 98% of TE recruits do. I really like this pick up and think he'll be a pleasant surprise for Vol fans in a couple of years.

With a 6'5 to 6'6 frame this kid could easily pack on 25 to 30#'s and not lose a step.
Yep. Physically he has the frame to be another Luke Stocker for us. This is a 3-star that I really like! Lots of potential here! Redshirt him and let him develop, learn the system, put on some bulk, etc and he could be a real weapon for us!

He’s not pushing developed upper classmen any time soon. He needs to develop his body and learn to block SEC lineman.
