BYU fan here

Hey Dad,
I’m so excited. Was just offered four tickets in the BYU section to Vols/BYU.
As former LDS/FDLS but as a VFL and UT grad, I will be neutral for this game.
Nobody will know if I am wearing checkerboard or magic underwear under my half blue, half orange outfit.
I have vowed no caffeine, nicotine, or alcohol from 7:30-10:00pm on 9/7.
That won’t be easy for this old jack Mormon.
But, I’m bringing my 3 sisters with me for support.
And, no silly, they are not also my wives.
Although, one of them is really hot. Is that ok to say in 2019?
So, hope you come find me in Section A and we can share a glass of water and a cracker at halftime. If you’re single or married and looking to add on to your family, two of my sisters are available and looking. I can hook you up.
GOOD LUCK TONIGHT AGAINST THE YUTES!

Oh, to get you in the mood for football.
Here’s some of BYU’s greatest hits. Rock out.

Utah doesn't go by the Honor Code

Nope, Utah has no honor and no code. Students don't have standards or values there. The school can also teach stuff like evolution, which is fine, but it needs to be in the right context.

A lot of the fans of Utah's sports teams didn't even go to college and have jobs like truck drivers and pizza boys. It's a sad fan base.

Playtime is over and football is here. Time to put the bad Mormon polygamy jokes to bed and get serious.

BYU will beat Yewtah tomorrow night. You guys should watch and learn. BYU is going to put on a whippin.

SEC's overrated and not that good. BYU is going to expose the SEC come next week by getting a W in the SEC's backyard against Tennessee.

That a boy. Now you got the spirit.

Go Vols!

Dang the Osmonds were great in their day. "Soldier of Love" was the peak in the 80s. I loved that song.

Wait wait wait, I hate to be a parade rainer, but that was a Donny Osmond song, not an “Osmonds” song. Donny Osmond can’t ever get any solo love......such a shame.

I have a question. I'm wondering how BYU typically responds after a loss? Does the team kind of get down or do they bounce back more aggressively? I'm just wondering if you think BYU will be able to give UT a more competitive game after the loss to Utah?...i'm just assuming because of Utah's dominance in this game over the last decade/

They go home and sleep with one of their 13 wives and call it a day.

Sry “op” no harm meant. It’s just I only get to have one.

Most of the time BYU bounces back hard after losing to the Yewts. A lot of it is because the games are close and it's usually outside forces cause BYU to lose. The PAC-12, for example, also sends its refs in to officiate the games and of course their going to be biased for the Yewts.

A few years ago, BYU had the game in hand and our QB Taysom Hill -- who's a big star in the NFL now for the Saints -- was going to a two-point conversion to put the game away. But as he was dashing for the end zone to win his shoe malfunctioned or something like that that caused him to drag his foot and the Yewts were able to swarm him. In my view, BYU won that game in 2016. The Yewts wins are usually garbage wins when BYU deserves the W.

It's also garbage that the PAC-12 picked Yewtah over BYU when BYU had the better sports programs with national championships, Heismans, Final 4's, Jimmermania, and the rest. It was pure religious discrimination that kept us from the PAC-12. BYU then turned down an invitation to the Big 12 because it was unstable at the time.

I mean come on everyone on earth knows Marie Osmond sang read my lips, and no stopin your heart and all, but nooooo Donny never gets any lovin.

Man that's good music right there. Great video too. They don't make em like that any more.

I do like it, but truthfully my favorite country song of all time is meet me in Montana. I know some folks don’t like country but that song was great.

Plus, Utah and BYU teams have a lot in common.......all the players on both teams tried out for Utah.

No way we're losing to Utah State. We call them Dairy Yewts around here because they are a bunch of loser farmers and ranchers. We're BYU. We don't lose to garbage.

More importantly, how does BYU typically respond after 2 losses? Next weekend they will be 0-2. WGWTFA! Go Vols!

That loss was garbage. The refs missed targeting and personal fouls against BYU. The Pick-6 by Yewtah in the first half was garbage too. Wilson's knee was down before he threw the ball. As usual, the PAC-12 refs come to play. The refs just sat there and laughed when Wilson was punched by a Yewt after a play was dead. I'm so tired of this.

Generally, when a bad call or two are the reason for a loss, the loss is by a couple of points, a field goal, or maybe a touchdown. You can’t tell me that the refs caused BYU to get beat 30-12, and if there would have been a different officiating crew the outcome would have been different...
