I’ve been thinking about this too. Is there some secret Pruitt is holding back. Like you gotta bust a team up, let them lose, fight, break them down to rock bottom, before you can build that foundation and start winning.

Yeah, they’re idiots. Have you seen Tennessee’s ish team? Slow, very few SEC athletes, lazy, uninspired, poor attitude, couldn’t care less. BYU wins by 3 touchdowns.

If BYU wins, I’ll gladly take over the coaching duties. My flag football teams have scored an average of 40 points a game for two years while giving up 12. My son, who was the qb, threw 24 touchdowns to 6 picks at the 10 year old level. He is now starting center on his varsity middle school team at 6th grade. I can coach them up obviously........

I think I’m qualified. I’ve got the history of successful coaching stints. I also will require a lot less money but also require dinner with Peyton once a week.

I think it’s a small price to pay for a successful coach........

It will be instructive to see what happens to the team that does not score first. Will it quit or try to come back?

Based on recent games, I don't expect us to come back if BYU can get a quick TD first.

Not going to happen. GA State could roll into Provo right now and beat us by 50.

The Yewts last week could've beat us 50-6 but they took their foot off the gas in the 3rd Quarter and yawned their way to an easy W. The Yewts coach Kyle Whittingham feels sorry for his former protégé who coaches BYU now and so RUTS was never in the cards. The 30-12 final score wasn't at all indicative of the game.

I can't believe it. After its sad pitiful display against Utah quiting in the 2nd Quarter, BYU's coaching staff apparently said don't worry about it and go out and enjoy yourselves. By all accounts, BYU's practices are anything but difficult. Players who ditch BYU and go to other programs talk about how easy the practices are there in comparison to Provo. So it's a joke they don't even hold practices half of the time.

Point is BYU's program has no heart and is soft. It's freakin sad and I'm mad as hades about it. If your boys hit them even a little bit hard they'll go running back into the locker room with their tales tucked, put on their short sleeve dress shirts, jump on their 10 speeds, and pedal back to Provo. Sorry, little humor there at the end....

Well, we show up to practice. But we don't really know what goes on there. They show the media they are practicing for a few minutes and when the media leaves, who knows what they are doing.

I think our guys just show up to practice to honor their scholarships and the coaches show up to collect a paycheck. Probably have Fortnite tournaments when the media isn't around. Bout the only thing I can conclude from our last 3 games anyways.

And if JG starts, BYU has this one in the bag.

We took the weekend off, too. GA State showed up, however.

There is no mistake or incompetence that BYU could demonstrate that is more pathetic than the current state of the University of Tennessee football program. We have a PhD is ineptitude.

I've heard some stories about BYU practices. The guys run a play or two and then a certain player's mom shows up with orange slices and they call it a day. Sadly, true story.

Not sure it would work. BYU hired legend Ty Detmer as OC a few years ago and it was an absolute dumpster fire. He didn't have any real coaching experience is why it was a trainwreck.

BYU just needs to find somebody who will pretend to be Mormon meaning they won't drink, smoke, or cuss -- in public. A lot of that stuff is a big farce anyway.

All you gotta do is put out a bunch of orange slices on a table somewhere near the sideline and the BYU players will be so distracted they won't care about the game.

Even though he was notching 10 win seasons consistently, the angry BYU fan mob were raging that the program was stuck. Former players were even writing open letters calling for Bronco's dismissal.

So Bronco more or less got pushed out and to the glee of many BYU fans and former players, BYU hired a fairly inexperienced (no head coaching stops) up and comer whose background was mostly as a defensive coordinator at a couple of lower-tier P5 programs like Oregon State.
