I’ve decided to admit it. BYU is such a steaming heap of poo poo the Vols could win by two scores."

BYU Dad - I was wondering why Coach Mendenhall got driven out. It seemed like BYU was always competitive/good when he was the coach.

And also, how did BYU wind up hiring Coach Sitake? Who were the other candidates?

I got to work Sat evening and I'm actually glad. I'm ready for the season to end and it's only week 2. It'd be funny if it wasn't so sad

BYU is limited on head coaching candidates because the head coaches at BYU have to be Mormon.

BYU lost to UMASS not long ago and has notched losses to trash like SJSU, NIU, Nevada, East Carolina, and more. It's been the darkest time in BYU football in decades. The greatest coach ever LaVell Edwards is turning in his grave watching what he built devolve into a Div. III trash program.

If the historical Tennessee pattern continues (even discounting the last game), we’ll help the BYU coach keep his job by making him and his 3rd string QB look like future NFL Hall of Fame candidates.

Because most BYU fans are dumb. Go look at Cougarboard.com and you'll see.

A good number of BYU fans were mad that Bronco wasn't getting us to the CFP and another national championship. Even though he was notching 10 win seasons consistently, the angry BYU fan mob were raging that the program was stuck. Former players were even writing open letters calling for Bronco's dismissal.

So Bronco more or less got pushed out and to the glee of many BYU fans and former players, BYU hired a fairly inexperienced (no head coaching stops) up and comer whose background was mostly as a defensive coordinator at a couple of lower-tier P5 programs like Oregon State.

ESPN says 73% chance Tennessee wins and Vegas says -3.5 for the Vols.

You should be pumped you'll get a win. The fact BYU gets no respect vs. the team that just lost to Georgia State is telling how far BYU has fallen. I hate myself right now.

BYU fans in attendance this weekend at Rocket Top is going to need some of that brewski you all be selling.

Did you see our creative D... we unleashed an entire playbook of new and up to Saturday never before seen formations. If BYU cannot roll of 500 yds then they ought to lose.

I've been looking forward to the eventual return game at BYU. I want to make a week of it and tour national parks. I hope we have a decent team by then.
Living in Dallas, I've also been looking forward to visiting Oklahoma and Arkansas in 2020, but it would be nice to have a representative team.

Man, both of us are not in a good way. We both need a win bad, and whichever coach loses is firmly on the hot seat. I guess we'll see, but despite Vegas or ESPN, I'm still really nervous

BYU's play was a joke last week. They quit in the 2nd Quarter after a pick 6. You could see BYU players just standing around during live play after that. QB1 hid out from the media after that and wouldn't come out to answer for his horrible play. My god.

I imagine BYU will quit in the 1st Quarter with the heat and humidity at Rocket Top. Tennessee will win running away.

By the way, Zion National Park is one of the most incredible places I have ever been. I could go there every year--or more. No matter what happens Saturday, I love your state.

My favorite was definitely the "Bunch 3 Defensive Linemen on One Side of the Line and Leave the Entire Middle of the Field Empty" play.

The funny thing about that play is that Ga State didn't take advantage of that formation. They actually ended up running to the overloaded side. And they STILL picked up the 1st down! Like, how bad do you have to be playing to ACCIDENTALLY put extra defenders where the offense is going to go and then still not be able to stop them?!
