Can you imagine the S*** we would get if we lost a coach to Purdue. Even if hes pushed out, if he isn't fired then it'll make us look bad. Plus this isn't a good year to get a new coach LSU had to settle for coach O for goodness sake.

LSU did not have to settle, they chose to. Just like we did when we hired Butch.

rn to Oregon.....but if he didn't, everyone needs to unload their savings and hand it to him to come here if butch were to leave. Shoop and him would be quite fun. Again tho, I think if butch cleans out his defensive assistants and brings in shoops, and brings on clausen as a qb/OC assistant, we would have a championship caliber staff. We would just need an oline coach.

Vandy is 110th in total offense. And they moved UP after playing the Vols Saturday. Our defense rivaled the Walking Dead horde after a full season in whatever system you want to say we were running. My mind would need to be the size of the Milky Way to accept that as an end season result.

If true, it's not embarrassing at all. The guy couldn't handle the pressure of the SEC and was clearly out of his league thinking Cincy was going to prepare him for the SEC. Even Anthony Weiner could spin this to look good for UT.... If it's true.

What I see is a season that could have gone much much worse with losing so many of our defensive stars. Even Kirkland is back to 100% yet for example. We beat Florida soundly. Awesome! The only coach since Fulmer. I just can't honestly say Butch should be fired. I know too much or rather understand our current situation to do that.

Clawfence is a good example. He was micro managed and had none of his people. He goes everywhere else and succeeds. That's because he has his guys and they all understand.

In Fulmer'a defense, he micromanaged early on because our offense was so pass heavy when we had a stable of backs to run for 300+ per game. Hell, the only reason we took UCLA to OT was because Fulmer made Clawson run the ball like crazy all second half.

No doubt that they are also having to learn Shoop's system along with the players. Probably should have let recruiting take a hit and let Bob bring his guys with him. Jmo but I understand the reasoning why he didn't. Bob would have told Butch that's what he wanted but to my knowledge he did not.

I can't explain it. When you have new coaches around it takes time to learn their personality and their terminology. If you been there it's like learning a new golf swing, it will take a solid year to be able to control it.

Sounds like you need a new golf swing coach if it takes that long. You hiring?

It won't be.

I would guess it will be. This will be a whole new AD department and completely new mindset. I would bet they learned from the mistakes made by the ones they are replacing and won't continue making the same mistakes and taking chances on less experienced coach's. My money is on them opening up the check book and hiring a championship level coach.

Heard from a reliable source, CBJ has informed some recruits and players and members of the university he is moving on to Purdue. Wait till all the coach speak rips this fanbase to shreds. We are finished .

And Fosters fumble...we should have won that game. I was there. Ricks first season there. He gave a speech to the fans after the game and they shot fireworks. I wanted to puke!!

Here is our current situation:

2015 - We're an 11-2 team that had a couple of wins stolen from us.

2016- We're a 6-6 team that stole a couple of wins.

That's a horrendous backslide.
