Butch says our D-line has "always" lined up a yard back. Is immediately proven wrong

His answer proves he had no idea they were even lining up a yard off.

Nah, he smiled and went on a tangent that had nothing to do with answering the actual question. What he should have said is "it's none of your damn business, next question"....

I have given up on listening to that man's pressers . its been old. The UF game is the turning point for butch. He could have bought himself some time if he had made it to the SECCG last year. He pissed that away with losses to Uscjr and Vandy.

If he drops the uf game then I can see the wheels falling off Dooley style.

So they start every down giving up a yard before the ball is snapped? Literally giving away free yardage?

I couldn't care less as long as we don't try it against SEC competition. It's hard to play against the run or get a decent pass rush when giving their line 3 foot of cushion.

That's it. 'The Cushion Defense'.. Err'body plays OFF the ball. New strategy by Butch & Co... Opposing offense has a safe, soft space to run up against.........

I honestly don't know why any sane human being would want to be the head coach at Tennessee with the constant barrage of **** you have to take from a slew of miserable wretches no matter what you do, good or bad. And then they expect to be kowtowed to, like they're the important ones, not the team or the people who actually support the team.

Could be worse though.

This is a reminder that we have come a long way from shower discipline, an orange dog, and a coach with a walker.

I don't care what he says at the mic, Although I'm usually cautious/skeptical, I firmly believe he's about to start a streak on the Gators. That's all that matters.

C'mon Butch... Reminds me of my students at school. I'm like, "Why did you do that?" They say,"It wasn't me!" Ummm... I just literally watched you do it.

Barnett got called offsides multiple times last year for lining up in the neutral zone. Pretty sure they weren't a yard off the los.
