There is some validity to what pig has posted.
I have posted this before, but it does give validity to some of pigs opinion.
From Ryan Callahan 24/7 sports:
"In all candor, there were several days in preseason camp when Josh Dobbs looked nothing like an SEC quarterback.
Lets put it this way: There were a couple of days where some of us media who cover Tennessee sat in our room inside the Neyland-Thompson Sports Center and legitimately discussed whether Dobbs or junior walk-on Matt Wegzyn a Knoxville Catholic High School graduate who used to start at UMass was the Vols third-best quarterback. And the debate was a good one."
"But to say anyone in or around the Tennessee program expected Dobbs to hit the ground running to this extreme wouldnt be accurate."
"Hes growing up at a rapid rate, and hes finally adjusted to throwing the ball with better mechanics and with more bulk on his frame both were huge problems for him in preseason camp and obviously he doesnt shrink from the moment."
It kinda speaks for itself.
You were exposed as either delusional or too vain to admit error. You were pancaked and exposed as a serial liar son.
Yep. Everyone who has discussed this with you is "dumb".... Again, when you are standing alone against pretty much everyone else... You are the one who is wrong almost all of the time. And when your explanations cannot account for all of the relevant facts... you can call it 100%. Yours didn't btw.... just making sure since you seem to have a massive blind spot to your own shortcomings.Apparently, you are too dumb to recognize what happened.
I did on multiple occasions. I did it in paragraphs. I cited statistics. I cited facts. I did it in bullet points. I did it by parsing your posts in detail point by point. You continually claimed I was wrong, yet 100% failed to demonstrate a single example of where I was wrong.
You still can't. It's safe to say I own you boy.
No. To make an argument in a debate... you have to use reason and an honest treatment of the facts then formulate ideas that can be defended without having to resort to dishonest debate tactics.I had no objections. I made the arguments son. You are so confused and twisted up in your own lies that you will say anything.
Please provide a demonstrable example of anything I argued that was wrong. Provide the facts and evidence that proved me wrong? You can't.
I bet you're lying...No. To make an argument in a debate... you have to use reason and an honest treatment of the facts then formulate ideas that can be defended without having to resort to dishonest debate tactics.
You failed magnificently.
See my previous post for 4 very specific things that you were DEAD WRONG about.
I'm certain you have no argument. Another sore loser hits the wall.
I'd love for him to be right and us have two good QBs.
Not taking up for pig, he can fight his own battles. But, your simply wrong about Peterman not winning the backup or #2 spot. He most certainly did. Not just my opinion, it has been reported as such many times from the media. I just posted part of an article by Ryan Callahan from 24/7 sports that pretty much sums it up.You were exposed as either delusional or too vain to admit error.
You never "pancaked" anyone except for yourself. You never demonstrated "evidence" beyond watching the same practice drills that the rest of us saw.
It is so obvious that Dobbs excels over Peterman in competitive situations that Ray Charles could see it... and those portions of practice were closed to cameras. You are apparently so dimwitted that you think being "back up" is the same as being second best. It isn't.

It is safe to say you live in some ego driven delusional world...
You cling apparently to those rare few points where those who disagree with you are asked to disprove a negative. For instance, I say that the coaches never declared that Peterman "won" the back up role. You say "prove" the coaches never said it.
You have not one shred of proof that shows that they ever considered Peterman their #2 QB other than the fact that they named him the back up AFTER deciding to RS Dobbs if they could.
Specific points where I categorically proved you wrong. One, you said that Dobbs was an inaccurate passer. I posted a mass of stats demonstrating that he's been an accurate passer.
Two, you claimed he was not the best runner... he most obviously was and is.
Three, you claimed that Peterman moved the team as well as Dobbs in his first two series vs Bama. I showed you PROOF from the game stats that he didn't.
Four, you claimed that there was no proof that the coaches wanted to RS Dobbs... you called that a "myth". In fact, it being a "myth" was a keystone of your whole argument that Peterman "won" the back up job. Now we have multiple occasions when coaches affirmed that they have planned to RS Dobbs since August KNOWING that Worley was the starter.
Me too.
I actually like Peterman and think he has both the intelligence and physical tools to be a good QB. But somewhere between having the obvious "parts" for being an effective QB and being one... there's a disconnect.
Every time he's played in a real game competitive situation (UF '13, UGA, Bama) Nate has looked uncertain and panicky. Maybe it is confidence. Maybe nerves. Maybe something else. But Dobbs seems to elevate his game under pressure while Peterman appears to wilt.

Oh, American Pig has never answered this that I know of so does anyone else know specifically when Peterman injured his hand vs UF? Oddly he started the game 1 for 5 with a pick then went 3 for 6 for the rest of the way to halftime. If he in fact broke his hand somewhere in there... it seems to have improved his completion %.
Funny though... looking back at that game then at his two appearances this year... the coaches either don't trust him to throw the ball downfield or he's afraid to do it. Almost all of his completions are within 5 yds of the LOS... for his career.
Me too.
