Buc-ee's

Stopped at the Crossville Buc-ee's yesterday. Its really impressive how they keep the bathrooms so clean with all the traffic.

I know I'm old and that's something an old guy would notice 😆
Did you pee all over the seat?

Gotta take my daughter to the state swim meet in South Georgia this weekend. Heading down tomorrow, can't wait to stop and get Beaver nuggets 🤣
The Buc-ee chips are the best item in the house. Opinions vary on many other foods. If you like creating drinks, the ICEE wall is legit.

Speaking of drinks, if you haven't tried the Beaver Milk, you have to. If you can't find it, just go to any employee, they'll be happy to help.

How has it been a year since a post in here?

I went to 4 Buc-ee's on my trip to TX this past summer. How many did you go to this year?
I drove to Knoxville from Texas last weekend and visited multiple Buc-ees on the way and way back. Was happy to see the location in Crossville which is a good place to stop on the way after passing through the Nashville roadwork.

We stopped at the one between Atlanta and Chattanooga after the first game. In the time it took to pee and grab a couple snacks for the road, my car had supercharged about 40%... Plenty to get me home. Those things are fast!

I went to:
-The new one in Springfield, MO
-Melissa, TX (north of Dallas)
-Luling, TX by I-10 (biggest one in the country)
-Wharton, TX on the way to Houston.

Ate 2 sliced brisket sandwiches and purchased 20 ICEEs (I have 5 daughters).

Last year, we stopped at the one in Crossville on a game day. I can't imagine Black Friday being any worse. The one they are supposed to build at Blue Oval will be less than an hour away, but it sounds ridiculous to drive that long for a souped up gas station.... Though not the first time I would have done something ridiculous.

Here's my moment to say I no longer understand this world. My relatives in TX always talk about Buc-ee's, which is basically a Love's station on steroids. I'm thinking, what the hell is the big deal? Y'all love snacks that much? I've had plenty of what they bring back from the store. It was good but it didn't knock my socks off.

On our way to Gulf Shores, AL this past Saturday, we were passing one and opted not to go in because it was nearly 9 pm and there were like 50 cars there.

We planned to go on our way out of town and I **** you not, I would guess there were 500 cars there. It was a massive traffic jam just trying to pull in. So we headed up the road and stopped at Cracker Barrel. WTF is wrong with people? How can the value proposition be that high? And who had the bright idea to sink big money into a gas station the size of a strip mall? Hats off to that guy. **** if I'll ever understand it. Who here loves Buc-ee's and can explain to me what I'm not understanding?
You should have stopped that night. They have the best beef jerky, and there have to be at least 30 different flavors. Not to mention their smoked 3-meat sandwich. It is a heart attack on a bun, but it is oh so good.
