Do we know their exact X and Y coordinates when that threat was made? We will need to check witness #3’s hearing to make sure it’s up to par. Maybe he had headphones on or was on a phone call when that threat was made.

People do say dumb **** when mad and/or drunk. True, most people don’t threaten mass murder... but he has had issues going back to an alleged domestic violence incident in high school, so I do think he has severe anger issues and I worry for that girls safety.

It appears the local authorities agree in regards to the university threat. I'd guess if the university had reservations they would want to know why KPD didnt before they made that move.

If I recall (and its spotty from time to time) this young lady has been in an extended relationship with him. I'd venture to say if hes a threat to her, himself or the public she would know that before or better than anyone else. Theres comes a point when you better do what's in your best interest.

Going forward I'm sure he will be closely monitored by everyone involved. If it's his prerogative not to become a better person after poor decisions and or comments that I'm sure will result in disciplinary actions in various ways, then you remove him from your university.

Why does the 3rd witness have to hear it for it to be true? He could’ve walked up after the other 2.

LOL seriously man just let it go. I mean hell were the other two watching a show when the threat was made? Maybe a movie? Maybe they also had headphones on and as such muffled what they heard.

Then I seriously doubt they make that statement to the police if they weren’t sure what they heard. That’s a serious thing to claim someone said.

So you’re gonna not to make sure to talk to everyone there? I mean if you didn’t want to have a lawsuit on your hands you might want to make damn sure the kid actually said it, so yes all parties involved would need to be questioned.

They talked to all witnesses. The third witness said he heard the threat about slapping her. He didn’t confirm or deny the other threat.

Most on here have a vested interest in him playing football, so there’s disbelief and excuse making bc of that. Then there’s those that believe he’s automatically wrong; throw him in jail, kick him off the team, etc. Then there’s the category of waiting for all the facts to come out then react from there. I want to see actual witness accounts and have those tested. If one witness heard the “shoot up the school” line then probably multiple witnesses heard the same.

I would imagine more charges would be filed or will be filed if that proves to be true. The fact that he hasn’t been charged with something more than domestic assault would suggest that witness statements contradicted each other OR more charges will be filed at a future time. The police nor the DA have ever been shy about going after UT athletes, so if he truly did say something that stupid we’ll hear more.

Couldn’t have. If he heard the commotion then he had to hear that no? Going off your theory, Was the only witness to hear it have any ill thoughts to BT or towards athletes? Was she on the phone with dispatch while this was going on? Did she or did she hear it with 100% clarity?

Because there was no alleged to that. Everyone and their momma knows that. Molesting boys and arguing with your fiancé is in a whole other realm.
