Brown is not going to disappoint, mark that down. The break away speed may be lacking, but he runs with power and agility. If he ever learns to hit the hole at full speed every time, he will be a Heisman contender as a Junior. If we need a home run threat, that guy is David Oku.[/QU Just FYI Brown is faster than Oku. In preseason GoVolsXtra interviewed Oku and they asked him how him and BB compared, and he stated how much faster Brown was than him when they were timing 40's. Im certian BB busted a 4.5 electo timed. Im on my cell or id go through the archives myself and link ya right up.

Not to change the subject, but I can't believe Ingram was any better than Hardesty. JMO.

Honestly I was just going by what I saw on the field without checking forty times, and I forgot about his thigh injury. Turns out Rivals and Scout both had him running a 4.4 40, which is awesome for a back his size. What impressed me was his ability to punish people with his runs, cannot wait to see what he does at full speed.
Just for comparison: Trent Richardson:126 carries for 642 yards and 6 TD's with 0 fumbles...averaging 5 yards per carry.
Bryce had alot of choices where to play ball. Glad he selected the VOLS.
Umm not really. If you remember most schools were shying (sp) away from Brown towards the end of his recruitment. Miami pulled their scholly offer and it was mainly a battle between UT and Oregon. I wonder if Brown wishes he had gone to Oregon and be playing in the Rose Bowl. Also there was his "adviser" who is still being investigated by the NCAA if im not mistaken. Now before you jump all over me, I still think he has alot of talent.
Not gonna jump all over you, I'm curious as to which "adviser" you are referring to?
Ok, I refuse to click that link because it's a NY times article, and I will not give them hits anymore because of their apparent disregard for facts and for the lack of respect their writers have for the state of Tennessee or its citizens, do you have another link or another source?

Why is it the times fault that you were doing wrong.
Coming from a Bama fan, I'd expect better!
I'm not going to get into this "hostess, NYT, BS" argument again with a fan of a rival school. Since you are so good at finding links about how UT is "doing wrong", find one RECENT story talking about our possible violations from anywhere that has a recognizable reputation (say espn, or sporting news, etc.) for sports reporting. While your doing that, I'll be doing my taxes, watching all of the bowl games, writing a novel, building a full size replica of the millenium falcon, curing cancer, solving world hunger, and ending the war in Iraq. I'll have all that done before you find it.
Have a nice day!
Oh ya I forgot, the NCAA always reports daily of what they find to ESPN so everyone can see what they have been finding. lol give me a break. It took years for them to conclude the Albert Means case and Antonio Langham cases. They take their time. So I guess you could say no news is good news but dosent mean you are in the clear.
Last time I checked, we self reported our latest violations with the text book ordeal and we are on minor probation for it. And If im not mistaken, you did not self report hostess gate.
First of all, Antonio Langham's scandal happened in 1993-1994, and was MAJOR VIOLATION. This happened before the age of the internet and blogging. Now we can get up to the minute news whenever we want. So lets focus on Albert Means. The Means situation involved schools all over the SEC offered money by his HS coach Lynn Lang. If you recall, UK was also placed on probation for giving the coach money, although they came forward with their wrong doing, Alabama did not.
You can sit and hope that we are in trouble but we are not, on the day this story broke, it was a sexy news piece because it involved "hostesses" and "young recruits" with a high profile University. Lane Kiffin has a bullseye on his back, if there were anything worth reporting, ESPN would be all over it. As it stands, they have nothing to say!
