He isnt, and never will be! Hardesty is a WAAAAAAAAYYYYY more punishing back than ingram, Hardesty is a better pure runner than "ingram", and Hardesty has had to indure more to get to where he is than ingram.................ingram just happens to play on the better team this year. Montario I wish you the absolute best in the peach bowl, and in you're future NFL endevors!!!

Honestly I was just going by what I saw on the field without checking forty times, and I forgot about his thigh injury. Turns out Rivals and Scout both had him running a 4.4 40, which is awesome for a back his size. What impressed me was his ability to punish people with his runs, cannot wait to see what he does at full speed.

1. Richardson was healthier than Brown throughout the season
2. UA has a better o line
3. 1 long run can skew those stats

I will give credit where credit is due, Richardson had a couple impressive runs, but so did BB:good!:

Umm not really. If you remember most schools were shying (sp) away from Brown towards the end of his recruitment. Miami pulled their scholly offer and it was mainly a battle between UT and Oregon. I wonder if Brown wishes he had gone to Oregon and be playing in the Rose Bowl. Also there was his "advisor" who is still being investigated by the NCAA if im not mistaken. Now before you jump all over me, I still think he has alot of talent.

Coming from a Bama fan, I'd expect better!

I'm not going to get into this "hostess, NYT, BS" argument again with a fan of a rival school. Since you are so good at finding links about how UT is "doing wrong", find one RECENT story talking about our possible violations from anywhere that has a recognizable reputation (say espn, or sporting news,etc.) for sports reporting. While your doing that, I'll be doing my taxes, watching all of the bowl games, writing a novel, building a full size replica of the millenium falcon, curing cancer, solving world hunger, and ending the war in Iraq. I'll have all that done before you find it.

I know BB didn't have any break-away runs this year, but does anyone know how many 10+ yard carries or catches out of the backfield he had. I remember him getting two or three decent runs for first downs when we needed 'em.

Oh ya I forgot, the NCAA always reports daily of what they find to ESPN so everyone can see what they have been finding. lol give me a break. It took years for them to conclude the Albert Means case and Antonio Langham cases. They take their time. So I guess you could say no news is good news but dosent mean you are in the clear.

Last time I checked, we self reported our latest violations with the text book ordeal and we are on minor probation for it. And If im not mistaken, you did not self report hostess gate.

First of all, Antonio Langham's scandal happened in 1993-1994, and was MAJOR VIOLATION. This happened before the age of the internet and blogging. Now we can get up to the minute news whenever we want. So lets focus on Albert Means. The Means situation involved schools all over the SEC offered money by his HS coach Lynn Lang. If you recall, UK was also placed on probation for giving the coach money, although they came forward with their wrong doing, Alabama did not.

You can sit and hope that we are in trouble but we are not, on the day this story broke, it was a sexy news piece because it involved "hostesses" and "young recruits" with a high profile University. Lane Kiffin has a bullseye on his back, if there were anything worth reporting, ESPN would be all over it. As it stands, they have nothing to say!

Except hostess gate will not produce any penalties. It's all made up by the times. However Bama Belles perfected the skank hostess trend back in the day which was why they disbanded.

So now that we have the internet, the NCAA is going to report to us on a daily basis? LOL WRONG. That has nothing to do with the fact that the NCAA is slow and you never really know whats going on with them. All you have to go on is precedent.

First of all the Langham case happened just before the 93 sugar bowl and ran into the 93 season. Its nit picking but just stating that if you dont know the facts, just dont say anything.

It is still up in the air whether or not this is a major violation. That is what they are investigating. Ya I hope you get it slapped hard by the NCAA, just so I can watch you go through the pain we went through. Not because Im afraid of your 12-20 HC or you team of frosh next year, or you 80 year old DC who let the D slip from last year.
