Folks aren't writing Dooley off for not having PR campaigns.
Yes they are. Bloodrunzorange and fijivol major on it. And that's also not the only reason as I mentioned.
He came with a bad track record in a bad conference and keeps stumbling on the basics.... like this.
The first part is pretty much true. I've said numerous times he was down the list and a high risk hire. Hamilton apparently thought he had high reward potential too. I don't know enough to make a conclusion yet.
On the second part, we don't know the situation. What should come first for Dooley? Convince Brown to stay regardless of his personal situation?
I'm not dismissing the possibility that Brown doesn't like the staff. I'm just not willing to massage conjecture into conclusions like some apparently are.
Loses the only recruit we had from 2011,
Everyone pretty much agreed that this was a miscommunication between the kid and his coach.
kicks Eric Berry off the field,
Never happened. Check your facts before using falsehoods to draw conclusions.
loses the top recruit in the nation and probably the most talented player on the current team...
I don't want to lose Brown. He looks like a kid with potential but he didn't show that he was the most talented player on the team with his play last year nor that he deserved the #1 ranking. Could have been injuries or just adjusting to the game... but he didn't show it.
Furthermore, there's no evidence that Dooley lost him... at least not yet. His departure may be temporary and it may be for reasons that have nothing to do with football or it may be because he doesn't like UT or the new staff. We just don't know yet.
Just thought... JJ's the main competitor to BB for 'most talented'... somebody should tell CDD to try to keep him since he probably has no idea who he is either.
Yeah... maybe someone should get their facts straight and wait for the facts before drawing conclusions too, huh?
