We don't know what his team does or does not want. They know more about what is going on with him then we do. All I know is, stay or go, it will all work itself out. I hope he stays and has a great 2-3 years with UT

He's still enrolled at UT. He hasnt transfered or dropped out or anything yet. So he would be able to play 9/4. It would almost be as if nothing happened.

My guess is BB has decided to take a redshirt this year whether he stays at UT or ends up elsewhere (KU or JUCO maybe?).

If he does that (and stays here) he could rejoin the team before or during the season as a practice player to work his way back into playing shape and earn his spot on the depth chart.

This is obviously wishful thinking on my part; BB is a talented back with a lot of potential to help the Vols somewhere down the road.

Why don't you supply some then. Let us have some fun. Realistically, if this kid takes a dump we'll know about it first, so just relax on wanting the info.

Chill out, tough guy. I thought the same thing he did reading through the last 2 pages. I was glad to see some good info for a change. While I don't enjoy the negativity and bashing of 19 year olds, what you do on this board is your business. So, leave Sab to his. He's contributed more in the last year to this board than you or I ever will...combined.:good!:

Assuming BB applied for the 2nd Session Summer classes by the 6/11/10 registration deadline, he would need to be on campus by 7/12/10 or withdraw from scheduled courses by this date without receiving a W.

Most people feel that if BB returns it will be for the 2nd Session which starts on 7/8/10. Under this scenario 7/12/10 is the absolute drop dead date. If he intends to return, he will probably be here by the 7/08/10 date

If he waits until the fall semester, classess begin on 08/18/10 and late registration extends until 08/27/10

I believe that if he doesn't commit to enroll in the 2nd session, the coaching staff will cut bait shortly after the July 8 to 12th time frame noted above. Everything has been kept in-house and low-key to date to allow him to return to the team upon player approval. As many have noted, any return will have staff requirements as well.

I haven't looked at the K-State enrollment/registration requirements but that will have an effect on his options to transfer and play there as well.

Great info. Thanks for this post.

:hi:

Maybe BB will appear today at Lebron's hour long announcement presser and make his announcement decision at the same time, to get more media buzz.

BB saying he is coming back to UT would be the icing on the cake this week. Anyone who thinks they wouldn't be stoked to have him back is..

Well,. No explanation needed.

Trust me, all of the idiots against bringing back Bryce Brown now would change their tune real quick.
