dooley will take him back with open arms. Bryce is the real deal at RB! Dooley needs all the talent he can get.

they will take him back but not open arms. has to work his way up from behind Neal.

they have no idea what he is thinking and don't believe he has any idea at this point what he wants to do..

your last statement is spot on in their thinking. don't say no to any good player

lets redshirt him this year while he thinks it over

seriously though, the problem is Bryce is well liked by the team and the cornerstone of that class , Dooley has to handle him with kid gloves for the good of the program. if you give him an ultimatum you are the grinch before you ever coach your first game.its a special situation and you should let the young man decide what he wants.

then again its went on waaay too long. i wondered last week when the lamaison not getting release surfaced if Bryce has been waiting for that situation to be resolved so he could ask for the same release. somebody called sombody's bluff somewhere. maybe thats totally random thinking and way off base, but that crossed my mind

id love to have him back but right now im not expecting it and not too concerned. if he misses the bus there will be another one next year that wants to be a "vol for life"

one of my biggest mistakes i ever made was transferring back home to MTSU after my freshman year of college. nothin against MTSU - but the college experience works a lot better away from home. i was homesick, in love, confused and under pressure all around - and coming home was the easy answer but it stunted my growth as a man and a student. i realize that now. if he does go to kstate ill still watch and hope he has a great NFL career

something about this whole thing just isn't right. Option A- Stay. Option B - Go to KSU. There must be options C and D like take a year off or somebody is sick or in some sorta trouble.

yeah ive wondered that too. but i also sill refuse to believe MJ voluntarily retired all those times. i think Stern suspended him for gambling and the NBA couldnt allow that scandal so soon after Magic Johnsons retirement.

so what is it here? is it just Dooley being 100% safe and not letting him play till some shady stuff is cleared up?

Not so sure about that. We have talent at RB and so far we've seen far more drama with BB than talent. Would he be a good back? Yep, pretty sure. But at the expense of what CDD is trying to instill? Don't know 'bout that.

Bryce Brown reminds me of Ricky Williams. Lacks mental stability, built good (when healthy) and both got good speed. And also doesn't like the physical contact ( part of the reason ricky left the league).

Please show me where BB lacks mental stability. Matter of fact, how do you come up with him avoiding contact? The only thing that Williams and brown might have in common is their size.

You keep saying this, how soon is soon?

Assuming BB applied for the 2nd Session Summer classes by the 6/11/10 registration deadline, he would need to be on campus by 7/12/10 or withdraw from scheduled courses by this date without receiving a W.

Most people feel that if BB returns it will be for the 2nd Session which starts on 7/8/10. Under this scenario 7/12/10 is the absolute drop dead date. If he intends to return, he will probably be here by the 7/08/10 date

If he waits until the fall semester, classess begin on 08/18/10 and late registration extends until 08/27/10

I believe that if he doesn't commit to enroll in the 2nd session, the coaching staff will cut bait shortly after the July 8 to 12th time frame noted above. Everything has been kept in-house and low-key to date to allow him to return to the team upon player approval. As many have noted, any return will have staff requirements as well.

I haven't looked at the K-State enrollment/registration requirements but that will have an effect on his options to transfer and play there as well.

Good info on the dates. I've heard several people mention 7/8 as a day to watch.

In honor of July 4th I say we all liberate ourselves from the bondage of Bryce. This man has nearly cost me my job and family through various post following during his recruitment and defection. :fireworks::fireworks:

EXCELLENT post. Thank you. I wish everybody would adopt this viewpoint or at least take this much consideration regarding Bryce. He's a young guy under a lot of pressure.

Thanks for the info.

He has until August 27 to make a decision? Hopefully, something comes down from his camp before that.

staff is not expecting him to be in Knoxville this session of school

After a long debate with my brother who is a Bama fan on Trent Richardson vs. Bryce Brown, he gave me 5 to 1 odds Bryce Brown won't pass Richardson in total yards.

I decided to take it. After watching highlights of BB particularly in the US Army game the difference could be receiving yards. Bryce has great hands and was very fast. I'd say its 35-65 He comes back to UT. But if he is back and ready for camp and healthy, I love my chances

You better hope Richardson has some "personal issues" very soon.
