Read what I said instead of believing someone else's interpretation....

He owes us all to a degree but more than anything he owes his teammates...and I won't back away from that opinion for a second

Jesus effing Christ....reading isn't one of your strong points is it?

Am I a teammate of BB?

I'm the one with reading comprehension problems? Also, don't take the Lord's name in vain. Thanks.

You really believe that?

I guess I can accept it if so because I respect your opinion...I just find that hard to believe

Good thing none of them have said anything negative about him and have welcomed him to attend practices. I'm sure they were all waiting on you to speak on their behalf. Expect a football signed by the entire team to be delivered to you shortly.

Who's the revisionist? Are you trying to now claim that YOU are not included when YOU USED the word "us"?

Bryce Brown doesn't owe, you, me, his teammates, or anybody else one damn thing.

Nope simply stating the focus of my post was his teammates despite you making it appear the focus was me (us...whatever)

You said, "he owes a decision to all of us."

"Us" denoting yourself and other Tennessee fans. Ergo, Brown owes you a decision.

Why can't you comprehend your own statement?

Wrong. He owes you nothing. He owes everyone on this board nothing. He owes his teammates nothing. He owes the school nothing. It's his life. He can make any choice he wants to make, and he shouldn't be the least bit concerned about upsetting the almighty thunder5.

You realzie you just copied exactly what 423 said about 10 posts ago...which I responded to...

It's awesome how you highlighted one thing I said which was not anywhere near the focal point of my post in order to make your point

I'll keep that in mind next time someone on here tells me I owe him my support

Nope, didn't realize that. But, good attempt at deflection.

I wouldn't be upset. It is usually a mistake to judge someone else's reactions by your own but I can't see being upset. Way back in the leather helmet days, we had a guy or two who could have helped our HS team that didn't play. We certainly didn't sit around waiting for them to change their minds. If they had, we would have welcomed them. It never bothered us if they didn't. (I played for a HS program in NC that won 6 state titles in 18 years. The home attendance avg'd around 4500... the school enrollment was about 425. The school district had about 7,500 people in it. So football really mattered.)

Some guys probably hope he'll come back. Some probably don't care all that much. I doubt any are hand wringing over it like we are.

In the only comment I've seen from Poole on the subject, he said he wanted him back because they needed depth at the RB position. He's the guy who stands to lose the most... and he wants him back. That's the best barometer I've seen.

That's great because you don't owe him a damn thing either. You see how that works?

I always love laughing at the people that say we owe everyone something.

What am I deflecting?

In order to make your argument you paraphrase what I say and ignore the clear focal point of the statement...

Is that direct enough for you?

You can keep repeating it as much as you like.

The bottom line is that he doesn't owe anything to me or you or anyone else other than possibly his team (who he has kept in good terms with).

But, hey, he's not that talented. He's just a lead candidate to start along with all the other scholarship RBs... that is definitely some sound logic. Maybe you should serve as a consultant to Dooley and Kiffin... heck throw Saban and Meyer in there too.
