as much as i want him back, this whole situation makes him seem like a giant *****. who cares, just shut up and play football.

Say what you want about BB, his potential and his right to make a decision....at some point he's just being a prima donna and we don't need that s***

Between this and the saga sorrounding his intial recruitment I'm absolutely sick of him

Of course, if you just waited to see how things turn out and you didn't obsess about it every single day of the offseason, then you would find that you wouldn't care one way or the other. You'll find out his ultimate decision soon enough. If he stays, then he stays. If he goes, then he goes. Life will continue either way.

I haven't obsessed about it at all...I've checked this thread (or threads like it) about once a week since the lastest BB saga started back in March...and it's the same BS over and over...very similar to his whole recruitment...

In case you haven't noticed all we've been able to count on BB for to this point is a bunch of self serving drama...

But oh yeah...it's all worth it because of his "immense" potential which is clearly evident when you ignore actual game performance against legit competition and focus on those 5 stars he had coming out of highschool

This is good news IMO. Some here were saying that he had already decided and that it was a done deal. I never bought that. WHY would BB sit out a year when he could be a lead player in a sec offense next season?

So I ask: When is the presser?

you realize that was never funny and won't become funny no how many times you spam this thread with it right?

Seems that others disagree with you.

We will have a Volnation Presser to determine if the use of Presser in threads is deemed comical or not, stay tuned for the announcement for said presser:hi:

Bryce Brown hasn't said one word the entire offseason. He hasn't created one iota of drama. If you choose to give credence to all the mass speculation and other garbage that gets spouted off on here by people that have no idea what is happening, then quite frankly, you deserve what you get.

Did he sign scholarship papers to play here?

Did that happen after a long and drawn out recruitment that went well past when everyone else in his class had signed?

Did he then sit out of spring practice for "personal reasons"?

Was it reported in every major sports media outlet based off of his subsequent actions that he's likely transferring to KSU?

Does he know all of this has gone on/is going on yet has kept everyone who needs to know (coaches, teammates, etc.) in the dark?

Is it getting seriously close to fall practice and still no word?

I can't believe you're going to pretend spoken words are needed to create drama...that's ridiculous...

He's an enormously talented player that was expected to be a significant contributor on a major D-1 football team....now he leaves everyone associated with UT football hanging because a guy that promised him the world left for greener pastures....

He owes a decision to all of us....but in particular he owes it to his teammates who are committed to the team and not themselves....

The longer he draws this out the more he says with his actions that he couldn't care less about them

Dooley said he would be the leading candidate to start. Kiffin thought he was going to be a stud. But, wait, let's trust your opinion of the kid. Good idea. :good!:

This is so typical of the younger generation. They all believe everything that they read no matter what the source. They also believe that the whole world revolves around them, and everyone owes them something.

Did you even read the post...or did you insert your typical argumentative BS...

I said he owes it to his teammates more than anyone...regardless of what you think he's telling them all to go screw themsleves with this kind of behavior

All Dooley has ever said is that he would have to earn his position...Kiffin handed 2nd string to him on a platter despite all practice reports indicating that Poole consistently outplayed him...

But let's trust your skewed interpretation of what actually happened...that's an even better idea

I do find UT fans reliance on practice reports funny since the ones coming out about QB's were always dismissed

Not being a smart aleck but where did Dooley say he would be "the" leading candidate to start"?

Where are you getting the idea that there will even be a press conference? Every time I check on this thread, I see where you asked "When is the presser". I haven't heard the first thing about Bryce Brown having a presser, so this is obviously news to me.

thunder5, I agree that BB has had opportunities and has not proven himself yet. I disagree that his talent isn't worth a little patience in this particular situation.

Kiffin courted the guy relentlessly and apparently built up all sorts of expectations. He made implicit if not explicit promises to Brown. I agree with the opinion that BB got preferential treatment from CLK further building his expectations.... then Kiffin yanked the rug out from under him. The guy was very careful and deliberate with his commitment. He thought he'd found the right place and staff.

After thinking about it a great deal, I can't honestly blame him for trying to put everything in perspective before deciding what to do. If that takes him until the last day of July, so be it.

3 months to put everything in perspective...when your teammates went through the same thing and have all decided to move on?

I respect his right to make a decision but this has gone way past reasonable
