Four players with a combined three years experience and 42 carries, one coming off an ACL injury and another being a true freshman. That's loaded?

well..... with mr. ******* on board last year poole never got a shot apparently you werent at the o and w game i thought poole looked good.... just sayin we got plenty in the stable.... i wouldnt waste my time on BB personally... not to mention its gonna start all kinds of bs with other players i bet if he comes back

i hope sgmvols is joking or drunk one of the two... vandy aint worth the lint in my bellybutton.....

Try 33 carries for 179 net yards, absolutely loaded. Oh, and by the way, one didn't look so hot in the spring game ( still recovering from torn ACL) and one isn't even on campus.

I didn't get the refusal to re-recruit Brown, but it sounds like CDD figured out what you just pointed out Tripper.

Dooley, what can Brown do for you?

Me neither. I think it became pretty obvious after the spring game.

None of those 4 would start for Vanderbilt.

That might be because Warren Norman set a new SEC freshman record for total yards in a season. Just sayin, not too many running backs would start above him (including the four mentioned, but also Bryce Brown IMO)

What's funny is all the people who say they don't care if Brown leaves will be the same ones in panic mode when we are in the bottom quadrant of the SEC in rushing next year.

Brown's father wants a package deal, or he's pulling Bryce and sending him to Kansas State!

You have to be kidding. There's very little "reason" in most of his posts about Dooley.

Clearly, you are showing your biases more and more every day.

Start getting used to the reality that there exists ample reason for questioning whether CDD can do this job and you too might learn to parse reason from emotion.

In addition to your emotion on the CDD hire, you need to get off your emotion-riddled Brown attack. Who really cares if you were impressed with his performance as a Frosh or not? Or that runners get more yards against bad teams than do against good teams? This has been none for a long, long time.

Unless I missed something, with the pick up of center over the weekend we are now at our maximum for the year. If that's the case there will be no package deal this year. I believe BB is talanted and we could use him, but this "I'm a Vol, I'm not" crap can only distract. It's hard to move forward if you're in reverse.

Go Vols.

There is also plenty of reason to be optimistic about the hire...and that has always been sjt18's position...that "wait and see" is the only logical position a Vol fan can take right now

I've read post after post from sjt18 and it's clear he neither defends nor denounces the hire at this point...there's just not enough evidence at this point in time to say failure/success is inevitable for Dooley

There is reason on both sides of the debate. Sticking to that would be the better path to those who wish to win over others.

The issue is that there is more than enough evidence is to engender skepticism. That's why it is here.

Dooley wins the rational crowd back though success on the field. No emotional argument will do it--and I believe what reason exists on both sides has been advanced.

For CDD, new evidence is what is needed most to win over the skeptics. Until then, no amount of name-calling will alter a rational mind.
