Yeah he would have to sit out a year and would then have two years to play. If both brothers come here would it serve Bryce well to redshirt (if he can?) and work hard to earn the trust and confidence of the coaches and players again, while allowing him the opportunity to play with his brother?
If his brother is already enrolled at a JC in Kansas as stated earlier, it seems the package deal would be a deal where BB's brother comes in next year after playing this fall for the JC team in Kansas. Makes you wonder if we might have to go through this again next year even if BB decides to stay here this season. (Especially if BB does not have a break out season where he's the clear #1 for 2011.)
He can be enrolled at a JC and not play football, this brings up another question; assuming he is enrolled in a JC why would not be be eligible for next year? Or would have have to play a year of JC ball to be eligible without the NCAA sit-out rule?
I would imagine if he comes here he would just sit out a year instead of going the JUCO route.
I assumed he was enrolled in JC so he could play ball this fall rather than sit out similar to the way everyone assumes Aaron Douglas is doing. If he planned to just sit out, why would he even enroll at JC? Why not just wait and either enroll at K. State or TN once it's determined where Bryce will play?
Well I assume he could enroll at a JC until a decision was made, I think he could leave the JC once knows if it is K-State or UT. Its all speculation really is there even any firm rumors that he is actually enrolled at a junior college?
You guys who keep referring to BB as a crybaby, etc, don't have a clue. By all accounts from anyone who knows him, or from anyone who has observed him while in Knoxville, he is a good kid who works hard and is a good teemmate.
Quit making stuff up.
Um, sitting on the sidelines during spring ball while you're trying to work out a deal to get your brother over or your waiting to go to a school you'd rather be at sure seems to me like a "whaaa, I'm taking my ball and going home" moment if there ever was one.
"Coach left me to go to the beach and I'm stuck in the mountains. Whaa. Whaa. I ain't signing no autographs right now kid. Wha. Wha. I want my mommy and daddy. I'm too far from home. I need big brother here with me so I can sleep in the dark. The players want me to turn my night light out. Wha Wha."
Yep, right now I'm picturing BB in some Spiderman PJ's, holding a Glow Worm, while sucking his thumb, dimly lit by the glow of his Buzz LightYear night-light as he dreams of his red rider BB gun with the compass in the stock.
