The decision should be made by the head coach and the player involved.
The team will rally around when he breaks free for a TD this fall.

I can't wait for when we do get news that he and his brother are joining the vols. Just to see the ones who are ripping him in fear he isn't coming back, relish and start celebrating his return lol. :good!:
Lets say he comes back. Everyone says " make him earn his spot ".. This is a bad idea. Lets say he doesnt do well in practice, doesnt put forth enough effort, Dooley isnt going to come out publicly and announce that. Yet come game day, all we will hear is, why doesnt he play BB, put BB in, whats Dooley thinking? Regardless of what Dooley does in this situation he is going to be considered stupid for doing it. This isnt Dooleys fault, BB quit on the team. Good luck BB, KSU is calling! Your not that important to me, if Dooley lets you back on he team, you better be ready to work like never before, good luck either way.
Making BB earn the spot is the equivalent to giving him the position because he's the best back we have and he will earn it. Make no mistake about that. This truth could be what CDD is thinking.
BB 'quit' on the team based on whatever interactions he had with the new staff and his reflections on what was happening at UT. It was a lot for all of our players, and perhaps some handled it in better ways. BB didn't quit on the team during the season last year. He worked hard and it showed.
Get real, folks. We need to re-recruit (recruit, persuade, convince, or whatever you want to call it) the Browns to join the Vols.
They have great work ethics, so let's get off that note.
A very reliable source told me that the current plan is for both Browns to go to K-State, but that UT offered Arthur and there is an outside chance they'll both be Vols.

And if he doesnt earn it? Like several fans, you will assume Dooleys mad at him or some crap like that. I could care less either way but it sure wouldnt bother me to see him come back and ride the pine for at least a couple of games if he does.
