Honestly, i dont think it really matters if they come or not. Neither play a position that the vols are in deep need for. RB is a spot they have lots of young talent. Bryce would help there but not make a difference from good to great. LB should be ok if some of the guy can bounce back from injury. you have to realize that lots of youngsters can big minutes last year and that should really help in the overall development of the lb corps. If they were OL/DL, or DB's i could see this topic being a bigger deal to think about.

As long as the team decides. I do not care what the result is.

Exactly. I say you bring the whole team in and have them vote on it. If they want him back and his brother to come back, then so be it. If not, Dooley tells the brothers thanks but no thanks and we all move on.

Please, Mr. Bryce Brown, will you stay and play for Tennessee. Tennessee cannot win another game without you, Cant you see that by the amount of Facebook stalkers following your every move? We are desperate in Tennessee. Cant you see how great it is in Tennessee? We will sell our souls to the Kiffin in order to win.

Blah,blah, blah

Slurp, slurp, slurp

He's gone, he hasn't replied to anyone's wall posts this whole time. It's also the same BS reply that Nick Stephens gave everyone.

You guys do know that the signing of a letter of intent for a scholarship puts severe limitations of what players can say. They are warned and limited to things they can say on facebook, twitter, etc... Anything that can be taken as a negative towards the program or university can lead to that player being dismissed immediately. Maybe some of these players are just keeping there comments close to the vest right now, knowing that this topic is very sensitive now.

This is absolutely ridiculous. We need to get as far away from BB as possible. He just so happens to be at the deepest position on our depth chart. I was hyped when he got here, and I still believe he is an incredible talent.......but his family obviously doesnt want him here. I say good luck to him playing on possibly the worst team in the "big 12" and getting to the NFL. Way past time to move on.

This. If we were hurting at RB, then I'd be more supportive, but at this point I can take it or leave it. Definitely not as gung ho about it as others. Ultimately it should be up to the team. In fact, I find Arthur to be the more intriguing of the two because I wonder if the change of scenery would do him any good.

I don't see how adding a pretty decent LB and a good RB back to the team would hurt us.....

You dont see how our "Saban clone" head coach bending to the will of a sophomore RB who sat out ALL of spring practice.....by not only letting him back on the team, but also taking his brother who couldnt sniff the field at Miami, sends the wrong message? I had high hopes for BB as well man...... but its time to let this kid and his weirdo handlers/family go their own way and become KSU's headache. My opinion of course. BB is a 19yr old MAN now. His daddy cant make him transfer....he has to WANT TO.

That would be Iowa State. If you remember correctly, K State handed us ours in a bowl game in the 90's. I have a banker friend from who is a K State alum that wont let me live this down to this day.

But we all know no talent comes from KS..

Regardless of what happened in a bowl game in the 90's.... there isnt a self respecting college football fan in this great country (except KSU fans of course) that would honestly say that UT to KSU or SEC to Big 12 is an upgrade or "smart move". I think Dooley told BB and his family nothing was guaranteed, that he would have to PROVE on the field that he was the #1 RB....and he didnt like it. I wish him luck at KSU.....but my money is on him never being a collegiate success or high draft pick at that school.

He will be back.

I hope Bryce comes back, I really do, but if he does, I have one thing to say. Be ready to work your butt off dude, because if you don't, Tauren Poole will eat your lunch! I am not convinced Brown is the better back. He might come back and run 2nd string or ride the pine. Kiffin isn't here to play freshman for recruiting purposes son.

I wouldn't read too much into the facebook comment. Bryce never said anything like he was gone to KSU in his response to that guy--all he said was that he appreciates the guy rootin' for him wherever he goes.

Facebook stuff is always open to interpretation. We can't know the intention of the writer when they write certain things unless we know the full context.

Yeah....let him sit out spring practice and then show up for fall camp. That's going to set a great tone for the team and certainly boost team chemistry. If DD is serious about character and establishing a strong foundation, this isn't the best move to make. He's one player. Why take the risk at this point in the rebuilding process? Makes no sense to me.

Can we have two threads for a topic such as this??? Not like the two we have now though...

One being a "Brown News Thread" and only links and useful information be posted and the other be "BB Thread" and that would be for all the extra post. Cause I don't want to sift through all the post to try and find some news.

Poole will eat his lunch? Please, take all your anger aside that Bryce isn't here and look at it logically. What did Poole show you that you annoint him to this high position in which many of you do. I'm sure he is good, but he has proven NOTHING. Please, I hope he is incredible! But you can't just say Poole is better because he is on the team, participating.

GO VOLS!

Dooley told bb that he would be on the bottom of the depth chat that he hasn't proved anything to them, he told his brother he would be an invited walk on to prove himself and a scholarship later if he proves worthy, bb did NOT like it and even said he was promised the starting job coming in as a freshman.

I LIKE your thinking.

This would eliminate the need for merging

I say we pass if this is true. Poole and Oku can handle the show. Yes, Arthur was a big-time player coming out of high school, but he couldn't stay on the field at UM. I think Dooley would be sending a negative vibe throughout the locker room if he allows a player who decided to watch from the sidelines all Spring to suit right back up. The team had to have built some chemistry through the Spring. Forge on without the Browns and allow the players that have worked so hard in the Spring earn their PT.
