I don't know if this has been mentioned because I didn't take the time to read all the pages but 104.5 just said that Brown may be back. He was wanting to come back. Any of this hold any merit?

They said Hyamms is reporting that he met with Dooley yesterday. and maybe he wants his brother to come to Tennessee.

If that's what the deal is, then I say sign'em up. Arthur Jr. may have bombed at Miami, but at least he would help provide some more depth at LB here.

We have plenty of free scholarships lying around, so let's give one to Arthur and get Bryce back on board.

Come on back Bryce:

well I have been listening to 104.5 and they have been talking about Brown.I just heard them say that his father met with Dooley yesterday. Probably trying to get bryce's brother to Tennessee. He was supposed to go to K State but guess his father wants him to go to Tennessee. I say we give a look at him at least.

I'd welcome Arthur Brown to UT with open arms. I'm confident he'd be better than Herman Lathers or any LB we signed in the '10 class.

Bryce, Arthur and Brown Sr. met with Dooley yesterday. The only thing keeping Bryce from returning is UT accepting Arthur. With the need at linebacker and Arthur's impressive skill set, it would make little sense not to accept it. If Crump and Propst are worth scholarships then Arthur Brown is for sure.

Ya me too he was a four star linebacker out of high school. If only for depth too, because last year we had a lot of injuries to the linebackers and with McCoy gone. Sign him for depth and if he can work and maybe fight for a spot.

He had an impressive list and rated the second best linebacker overall. If he wants to come here. let him.

I said to hell with the whole situation weeks ago and haven't kept up with this thread or heard any Knox-area radio reports. If BB does stay and brings his brother to Vol-land that would be amazing; certainly better than I would have guessed would happen.

Either way, wish em both the best and go Vols

I think BB back in Orange would be good news given that the team signs on. I hope Poole is ok with it. I think Poole knows that there are plenty of carries for both of them.

I think I heard something or saw something a while ago about Poole wanting Brown back. But even if Brown is back I want Poole to start.

I am not a BB fan. Most people know this. But we are in need of bodies and his older brother did have potential coming out of HS. I think with the current staff he might be able to grow into the player everyone thought he could be ... or he could just give some of our guys a breather. Either way, we have a ton of scholarships that by my count we will never be able to use with the backdate rule the way it is. Bring him on.

And maybe just maybe a happy BB will finally be able to break a deep one against somebody.

What can the Browns do for you? Bring them boys on but hopefully BB will know that he will still behind Poole after missing all spring.

Vols need a capable backup to Poole. He hasn't proven that he can carry the load an entire season yet...most likely going to have nicks and bruises and we all know that Brown is an SEC ready back...not so sure about Oku, Williams, and Neal yet.

What year would Arthur be elidgable? 2011? And would he be a junior?

If we happen to take in his brother, better hope he can grasp the Wilcox system because a Cane fan said he had trouble grasping their system. He said he has some growing up to do in a mature sense.
