There were conclusions Arthur was at KState but that seems not to be the case. I heard a caller on the radio said Bryce is KState locked but he seems to be misinformed.

Arthur left Miami after the first semester and enrolled at a Kansas JUCO to think things over. He is currently not enrolled anywhere. Bryce is still enrolled at Tennessee for now and worked on his schoolwork in the second semester.

From what I am hearing both will be Vols in the end.

I don't like calling people out but what leads to think that? Do you have a source or just a gut feeling? I read awhile back we might have had interest in his brother but that has been dead for some time now...

This could help Dooley. He hasn't recruited anyone with Bryce's talent in his college football career. Still, he should have been able to recruit him to join spring practice. This is a second chance to do the right thing.

If he gets Arthur, that's just a straight up 'feather in his cap.'

No, I know a good bit about this situation. I wouldn’t say I’m an “insider” but it’s a lot more than a gut feeling.

I want the guy who gives us the best chance to win to start, whether it's Brown, Poole, or some random guy in Section P.

Very, very true.

I've argued with folks who think BB is a shoe in if he decides to show up... but he's more than talented enough to be the man.

I'd love to see those guys make a great tandem for UT.

Really? Alot of those NC players from LSU seem to have done pretty well. D Rogers isn't exactly mincemeat either.
Still, he should have been able to recruit him to join spring practice. This is a second chance to do the right thing.
Nope. He did the right thing the first time by not re-recruiting him. He left the door open, explained why he thought UT was the right place for him, then gave him room to make his decision.

It looks like DD doing the right thing the first time may pay off by having BB do the right thing on his second chance.

Wow... I disagree when you criticize him then disagree when you praise him. If AB drops in DD's lap just because he and BB worked something out between them... I'm not sure I give DD much credit for that.

Maybe if BB was impressed by DD's approach and that caused him to want both he and AD to play for him... then he could have the credit.

So Carroll's recruits don't count as Kiffin's or Orgeron's recruits? Even better, you mean CLK's recruits aren't O's recruits?

What does that have to do with applying your logic consistently?

There is a difference in the role CLK and O played at USC and the one Dooley played at LSU. The press is all over that.

The main point is... I don't care to defend Kiffin, but you know the above is true, so just be honest with yourself.

Bogus, unless you mean strictly as a head coach.

I'm not even conceding that. I think BB has a ton of talent but Rogers looks like the real deal and there are no questions about the competition he played against in HS.

There are even fewer questions about the competition BB played against last season.

I hope Rogers turns out to be great, but some here caution that we need to wait and see how their talent transfers to the SEC.

Honestly. I don't "know" that. Carroll, Kiffin, and O are very open and self-promoting. Saban is about as open as the CIA's covert ops division.

Mostly valid. Carroll opening credits Kiffin and O.

But, Saban is the recruiter. He's open about that. He's a blood hound on the recruiting trail.

.

Here we go again... Having to pick on a kid that I like and believe will become a great RB.

Look inside BB's numbers and you'll find that the vast majority of his success came against lesser opponents or after games were decided. He was not highly effective with the game on the line. He was under 4 ypc vs teams with a winning record and SEC teams.

He went over 50 yards in a game 4 times: WKU, Ohio, USCjr, and Memphis. Those 4 games also accounted for 265 of his 460 total yards. WKU alone was almost 1/4 of his yds.

I want him to become a UT great. But he didn't prove that he was or would be last fall.
