Durn! I was holding out hope that he and BB would be announcing a 20 city tour across the state to show their undying support for all things Dooley and Pearl.

Why would brown transfer to a lesser school, sit out a year, when he could start and play right away for UT in the best conference in the U.S.???? Hopefully he explains this thinking at his upcoming presser.

Give me a break. If Kiffin wanted Brown to be the starter, he would have been. Who was going to stop him? He was the head coach.
You can't be that dense... you must be evading. Kiffin gave BB MORE than a fair shot at claiming the starting job. Hardesty was so superior that BB couldn't take the job or even spell MH in meaningful situations.

I THINK Brown will become an outstanding RB but he was NOT ready to be #2 last year.
Hell, with your omniscience, I'm surprised Kiffin didn't start Darren Myles instead of Eric Berry.
I'm sure that somehow in your convoluted method of reasoning this extension makes sense... but it is absolutely non-sensical.

there is a thread on TOS that says he got on a plane today,,,
I predict he will either come back or he won't and a further prediction says I really don't have a lot of concern either way.

A lot of kids go home for a little break during the summer. If he comes back then great, if not then best of luck to him.

If he got on a plane, maybe it was a round trip flight. He has until August to make a decision about whether he's decided to stay or not.

I just called jimmy Hymans and asked him if could update his 50/50 chances and he said it didn't matter because he heard from a reliable source, he used the name johnny, that we are getting a stud rb named Chuck Webb.

You drink a LOT don't you? :ermm:

I predict that 12 years from now, Bryce Brown will not be playing football for Tennessee.

They were saying on the radio this morning that on the Vol caravan the #1 question that dooley gets from fans is the status of bryce brown and he is starting to get irritated by it being a contsant question since it is a guy that isn't even on the team.

I would love it if he came back. Having said that, running back is the most easily replaceable position on the field. D-I Running Backs are a dime a dozen. The successes or failures of this year's team will have little to do with whether Bryce Brown is on the squad or not.

+1

If our OL can't make any holes, BB would be tackled in the backfield just as much as Poole. If Hiestand can get the OL to open up some running lanes, Poole will be able to run through them just as well as Bryce.
