Will Bryce Brown return to play (be listed on a gameday roster) for Tennessee?

no way athur would be in the meeting if it were about Bryce's release

Maybe, unless they were using Arthur as the main reason Bryce is wanting to transfer, so he can be with his brother. If that is the case, his brother being here showing support could help their cause. Just speculating.

On TOS people are saying Arthur and Dad were just here to help pack up BB. The speculation is that they met with Dooley and Chaney to negotiate the terms of BB's release to K state.

Others are pointing out why would Chaney and the brother need to be in a meeting to discuss BB's release?

Hubbs said that he has been trying but the Brown's camp has thus far refused to talk to anyone about the situation.

Dooley and Chaney would be trying to re-recruit BB... and perhaps his brother (but that may not even be on the table).

Arthur and his dad are there to discuss their options and to help Bryce with his decision.

If the packing is true, it sounds like the re-recruitment failed. K-State fans will not be as confused about the potential of the Browns as we are.

They'll do well wherever they play. BB will play in the NFL and I think AB still has a shot, but he really needs to step up his training and his game.

If he leaves, we can start talking about how bad the stats really are for next best back on the UT roster. They're clearly worse than those BB had.

The flip side rumor is Bryce and his dad are trying to get dooley and crew to offer his brother a scholly and both would stay, because the dad has cooled on the transfer idea to K-State.

Stupid statement. There is no indication that anyone is confused about their potential. However, at the moment one guy becomes bigger than the team or has special pull with the coach that was not earned on the field, you have a situation that just can't win.

Even if you think he's the MVP on this roster, and I don't, he isn't more important than the 99 other guys together.

Copy/paste for all his posts. The agenda is obvious with that guy

If the meeting was about a release and the terms, you would think that they got it figured out at the meeting. If he is wanting to leave why drag it out by not commenting on being released?

What's funny is that now he is rated a 3 star by users. (possibly a bunch of disgruntled Cane fans) He sure hasn't played up to his high rating yet. I hope that he's just waiting to burst out and he does it here.

Like Chris Donald is waiting to do at UTC?

Are you kidding me?

Did you not see how Brown and his family handled his recruitment?

Some guy on TOS is saying that Bryce and Arthur Sr. want Dooley to offer his brother a scholarship, but that CDD wants Arthur Jr. to come in as a preferred walk-on and earn his scholarship.

I hope things work out. I really want Bryce to stay and for Arthur Jr. to come along, too. :\

If true, I think it is a good offer from DD. Make AB earn his spot.

I don't see the problem with that arrangement honestly, but say Bryce stays and Arthur comes. Do you think Bryce would take a redshirt year to be able to play with his brother?

I think it would be an unwise decision for Bryce to sit out a year in any fashion--which is why transferring to a lesser team in a lesser conference only to sit out a year seems like such a poor decision to me.

Bryce has the potential to be the starter here for the next 2-3 years (depending upon how well he does and if he chooses to enter the draft after his Jr. season). Arthur Jr. having already been in college for a couple years will have like 3 years to play 2, if what I've heard is correct. Thus, Bryce wouldn't need to redshirt (if he's even capable of doing that since he played last season, perhaps he could take a medical grayshirt instead) to be able to play with his brother the rest of Arthur's years in college.

Here's to hoping Bryce stays and Arthur joins him!

Why would we not let them both Play for UT? Authur was a highly recuited a 5 star player as well. How could it hurt the team? We need all the help we can get offense and defense.
If they are to come and play Dooley should make both of them understand they are going to earn their spots like the rest of the team.
Bryce did not quit school, he stayed in and continued his education. He was going through some personal issues. We all have them and deal with them in different ways. Yes he should have been at spring practice its not fair to the team players who were, but life is not fair and IMO most of the team would understand if it were to better the team.

That's my 2 cents

I'd give him a scholly, I think he has enough talent for one. I think it just comes down to what CDD thinks is better for the team in the long run.
