Russell Shepard has been showing him a good time this weekend and putting the bug in his ear. He should be an official member of the recruiting staff. I wouldn't be surprised to see Miles and company have him locked up this weekend.

I love how LSU fans are always so sure they have a good player locked up. You guys also said Jackson was locked up....how did that work out?? This kid is not going to make any quick decisions, he has waited this long he for a reason. I still think the Ducks are the school to beat.

Even with all the talent in the world..Les Miles will still make a bonehead move in a big game to lose. Coaching stability should be an issue there...because tiger fans want Miles gone.

It seems like the leader for this kid changes everyday. I don't think anybody besides BB, Butler, and maybe his family has the slightest idea where he is going to end up. LSU fans think he is a lock(probably for some stupid reason). We think he might be ours because of his facebook page. He has been committed to Miami for a year. People in Wichita think KSU is a legitimate option. He said that he sees himself as a duck before he goes to bed. I enjoy following this saga, but I'm not actually going to believe anything I hear until March 16th.

I doubt that very seriously...From reports I have heard  Brown has a major dislike for corndogs and the smell of them makes him sick...But to our advantage, He really enjoyed the goo goo clusters that the hostess's were giving him when he came here so I truly believe He will be a new member of the UT family very shortly

louisiana is a third world state, bryce come to knoxville where we have running water and the people don't smell like meat products

Rumor has it that every night before bed BB listens to Marcy's Playground Sex & Candy and stares at the pic of him and Lacey.

You must admit. This thread and this recruitment is by far the most off the wall craziest that has ever happened. I know that there are a few similiar stories out there but this one has had more exposure than those previous. This is probably a one to two year type event because schools and NCAA will learn how to deal with these type of events in the future. Even though Butler is the wild card, he will not be allow to hold all the cards as before. Whoever does not get Brown is going to scream to the NCAA, Foul and it is going to taint the career of this kid. Unfornutely, we ended up with two kids mentored by Butler. We have th backs to go through another year, but it is the thrill of the chase and the momentum going into next year that maybe lost. I am very satisfied with this year's recruiting class. Gravy would be OC and I know there is a plan to secure his commitment but it makes you wonder what extremes GA will go to obtain his services.

This years recruiting class is an absolute success and do not let anybody tell you different.

I hope Richt is not on the chopping block he is a good man and good competition. But as for Les I hope they are sharpening the axe.

I have hope.

I think we have as good a chance as anyone still in it. I have begun to really think he still ends up at the U.

Richt is the next Fulmer (w/o reaching either the championship level or duration of CPF) and Miles is much worse as the next Larry Coker of college football.

Saban is the guy to watch for us, over the long term.

Predictions (4 years out for Bryce Brown to ponder; on-topic): In 2 out of the next 4 years, UT vs Alabama will feature two top 5 teams going head to head. In those two years, the SEC championship game will be a rematch with the winner playing as the favorite for the NC if their team can win both. I suspect one year will be a reversal knocking both out of the NC and clearing the road for USC to spank either a Big 12 or Big 10 team in the title game.

We'll continue to dominate UGA (big deal... only the media don't realize that). Bama will dominate LSU. UF will fade as Tebow goes to the League (still top 10 teams, but not on the level of UT/Bama).

If Brown wants to play for championships, Les Miles is a very bad choice for a head coach. Richt is an equally bad choice for Charles. Play for the Vols, gentlemen--and win championships together!
