I've actually spent some time in Eugene, the Pacific Northwest is great, but Eugene is a hick town... probably even more country than Knoxville. They have a strong fan base, but honestly I can't understand what would attract a kid aside from the Nike connection... they are an annual whipping post for USC, they have a historic but dinky stadium, total hippie town... isolated from any big cities. Not that Knoxville is a bustling metropolis, but it is head and shoulders above Eugene.
P.S. Oregon chicks.... not that hot.
Can't understand what would attract him to Oregon? The area is beautiful and the university is good academically. But, given that he is a running back, it could be that they had two 1000 yard rushers last year and 47 touchdowns on the ground. They beat USC year before last and I believe have a good shot this year at home. Might be a shaky year for USC without Sanchez and still no identity in the rushing game.
And Oregon chicks aren't hot? Are you sure that you just weren't invited to the right parties?

Doesn't sound like he will choose Oregon if he doesn't want the entire team resting on his shoulders..... I am most worried about LSU, because of the article on his website and the "unofficial" visit to LSU.
No Oregon team under Chip Kelly is going to rest on one players shoulders. His entire offensive philosophy is to force defenses to account for more field. You can't do that going to one guy the whole game.
You never know. He could go to LSU. But, would be a surprise to me. It's just late in the game to be trying to sell how invested a program is in taking a recruit on. Plus, LSU runs a vanilla rushing game. I don't think that running the dive 9 out of 10 rushes would be great use of a back like Brown.
