John Brice from Volquest said in a phone interview on the sports monster yesterday morning that Tennessee would very likely get a visit from Bryce Brown after NSD. He said our chances are as good as anyones and we are definitely in the mix. According to Rivals, Brown has taken 3 official visits, so he should have 2 left. I think UT gets one of them, not sure who gets the other. If he has any interest at all left in Miami, they could get he other. It doesn't show that he has taken any visits there, which is kind of strange.

I personally like our chances with Brown. We have only signed 1 RB this year so that should really stand out to him. I'm pretty sure Eddie Gran is the one who pulled Nukeese Richardson out of Florida and he hadn't even visited anywhere else, so maybe he and the rest of the staff can go get Brown.

just wondering..... what are the three schools BB has already visited? mentioned earlier that he made 3 visits and UT and Miami get the others.

i apologize if i appear stupid but i missed yesterday and today i am following up with all the news.....
if BB is this good, and supposedly has an agent, then i assume that he is seriously eyeing the NFL.....
my ? is: why would he really consider those schools? Miami and UT would realistically get him there with serious chances at winning at least a conference championship. the other school are not even going to sniff a confernce championship much less anything National. just trying to get a handle on this so any insight form anyone would be appreciated

As I posted elsewhere, Kiffin is putting the full court press on Oku today though. If we get Oku I'm not sure how that impacts Brown. Based on Brown's history -- I say we grab whoever we can get of the two and not wait to see and potentially lose both.

in the past he has seemed to favor Oregon...although admittedly it was when Boyd was rumored to be going there...

I have never really seen anything where he mentioned Clemson

Is it true that Bryce Brown has an official visit to take at USC or is that O. Charles. Eitherway just to be in the mix with this guy and a lack of talent at RB, (no knock on Creer or Hardesty) gives us somewhat of an advantage. I feel better about this guy then I did Marlon Brown.

Im kinda glad we haven't had a visit from him yet, if he does decide to visit us, mainly because we should be one of the last schools to truly extend a huge welcome for his services.

And this could explain Oku waivering somewhat. Man I feel good about getting Brown! Unless someone has a good explanation why Oku has decommitted then......

One more thing, and I know this is way way out in left field, but I believe that Crompton shines this year under Kiffin. I think that a new polished and not so complex offense will be easier on the kid.

Brown and his family have made fools of themselves by letting some fat loser "manage" the kid--when it's obvious that the loser only wants to make money of this high school prospect and use Brown to try and sell his "services"--he has none--to other kids who think that this guy can help them get schollie offers. Read the NYTimes article--a real eye opener. Supposedly this handle has a contact or two at miami, so one wonders why brown didn't sign with them. Kids who don't sign papers on signing day usually have family issues that are even weirder than most of the others.

If by some miracle we landed Brown and Oku within the next few days, I wouldnt even line a QB up. Just split the two in shotgun and let the defense guess.

Not gonna happen, I know. But one can always dream.

My sources (same that I have had this whole time) has informed me that BB is coming to rocky top for a visit! Put on for Him!
