I'm pretty sure Kiffin&co will not let him do that here. If he's not going to give 100% he's not gonna play.

I dont understand why ppl think Brown is a ton of baggage. He has done nothing. He got that "mentor" to help him out. I dont agree with that, but look from his viewpoint. He was probably approached by that guy promising to help him out. If your a 17yr old kid with a bizillion school contacting you, wouldn't you like some help? From everything I have read about the kid, I dont see how anyone could call him troublesome or has lots of baggage. Oku may be another story. I think Kiff and the current staff can help out either one though.

That's why I don't want him. Because I don't think he will give 100%. He's lived his life as a trained slacker. When someone is broken down to the core, they revert back to what they know. He was bred to only do the minimum, and that's not good enough.

Sadily, I kind of agree. I would love to land this kid but the baggage that comes with him might be the kind that could be death for a program. If I were Kiffin, I'd make it clear to Brown if we were to bring him in that his association with this scumbag "mentor" was over.

Yea not sure what the big deal is, it didnt scare OU off from signing kids from the same group as well as Kansas.

So this could potentially be another Kelly Washington? Oh boy....but I'll trust our coaching staff will give the discipline needed to get the most from this young man. If he wants to get to the NFL, I think he'll listen to our mentors on the Hill.

My understanding BB is a humble low-key guy, but this "handler" has his ear, and has given him some bad advice.

He could just be a misguided kid surrounded by some bad people and I hope that is the case and everything turns out good.
