craziness---

It's believed Brown will come back the weekend after Signing Day and look at what players landed where and then decide on two official visits to either Auburn, Miami, Tennessee or USC.

so no visit this weekend.

I guess this will get buried in a matter of 20mins and then it will have to get reexplained 20 times.

here are OL that are considering UA, Miami, and USC.

Miami:

Commited:
Jermaine Johnson 4*
Malcolm Bunche 3*
Brandon Washington 4*
Jared Wheeler 3*

In the running for:
Bobby Massie 5* (in his final 5 bu believed to be a Alabama lean)
Marcus Hall 4* (believed to be a OSU lean, but raved about his Miami visit. Will visit UT this weekend)
Daniel Campbell 4* (down to USCw and Miami)
Quinton Washington 4* (believed to be down to USC and Us)
Peter White 4* (in his final 3, grew up a canes fan)

Auburn:

Commited:
Tyler Knight 2*
John Sullen 3*
Andre Harris 3*

In the running for:

Bobby Massie 5* (see above)
Xavier Sa'u Filo 4* ( didnt get one of his 5 offical visits, so most likely are out of it)
Brandon Moore 4* (In final 4, but is visit UT this weekend)

USC:

Commited:
Kevin Graf 4*
John Martinez 4*

In the running for:
Marcus Hall 4* (no shot IMO, will visit UT this weekend)
Daniel Campbell 4* (down to USC and Miami)
Xavier Sa'u Filo 4* (got an offical visit, so in final 5. IDK alot about him)

After looking at this, i think we have a good shot at getting an offical from Bryce.

Ok, here's the deal. I'd say about 15% right now. IF (and that's a big IF) we land M Hall and P White on NSD, that number jumps up to at least 50%, maybe more, based solely on the fact that he specifically mentioned those two OL prospects. So, if on NSD we happen to land these two, I'd say our chances are as good as anybody to land the #1 prospect in America.

"I’m really watching to see what schools lineman like Marcus Hall, Bobby Massie, Daniel Campbell, Malcolm Bunche, and Pete White will be attending on signing day," he said.

If Bryce bases his decision on o-line play, we are screwed. Worst o-line we have fielded in 20 years and not likely to get much help this year. I think he will solidify his Miami commitment with the new coordinator hire.

He's not coming here. Let's move on.

Peter White is not coming here and neither is Marcus Hall.

Of course not, that's why they aren't even considering us... Wait a minute, they are? Well golly gee! Please explain to me how you know for a fact that White and Hall aren't coming here, and I want sources and links too. I'm gonna go on a limb here and say you have no idea where these guys are going to go, so don't come on here and spout your opinion like its fact.

I will bet you anything they aren't coming here. How does that sound? White is a from a family of Maryland alum. And its just stupid to think he have a good chance at Hall. If that makes you angry, I'm sorry. Actually no. I'm not.

Anything? Ok I'll take that bet. I want your house if they both come to UT

Brown's brother must have told him something about Miami that has swayed this young man's decision. Especially if his last two visits do not consist of Miami

I haven't noticed any discussion on this guy. Has this possibility just materialized recently? Rivals lists him as a commitment to Miami, but apparently he's still considering his options.

At the top of the speculation list is the nation's No. 1 player, running back Bryce Brown of <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:smarttags" /><st1:City><st1:place>Wichita</st1:place></st1:City> (<st1:State><st1:place>Kan.</st1:place></st1:State>) East. Brown remains committed to <st1:City><st1:place>Miami</st1:place></st1:City>, but he currently is with his uncle on vacation in <st1:State><st1:place>Nebraska</st1:place></st1:State> until Feb. 7. There has been rampant speculation that Brown will take an official visit to Auburn this weekend, but neither Brown nor his mentor Brian Butler have confirmed the visit.

I don't notice any discussion either until I take the time to go to the Vols Recruiting Forum.

Okay, smartass. Since I freaking posted in the Recruiting forum, it seems pretty obvious that I HAVE gone to the recruiting forum. I had seen all the discussions on Marlon Brown, but somehow I had not noticed the thread on Bryce Brown. It probably has something to do with the fact that I usually ignore posters' rampant speculation about a player that is already listed as committed to another team.

I can't believe Brown is only considering teams that are recruiting great O linemen. I remember when Gerald Riggs signed with us, we recruited the VolWall; how many of those guys panned out?

So that's why you started a thread about a recruit who is currently committed to another team?

I started a thread about it because I just read yesterday's Rivals article stating that all of a sudden he plans to take official visits to others schools, one of which may possibly be UT.
