I dont see us getting him, but us having Chaney may help our odds.

no matter who gets him, it will be a shock.

if we won the Bryce Brown sweepstakes, the three most obvious reasons would be---

1) Lane Kiffin
2) Eddie Gran
3) a solid signing class for OT/OG

but to this point, there has been nothing obvious or straightforward about his recruitment. it has been a dizzying and circuitous affair.

It may also take the O to go get him since he is the RC. First, a visit must be setup.

So is it mainly between us and Oregon? Or is USC still solidly in the picture? I don't really see him at Kansas State or do you guys? I agree it seems like a mess.

not at all. miami hasnt been ruled out yet. oregon is probably his leader. he is visiting k state and either us or USC. hasnt decided which though i dont think.

yeah sorry i meant for his other visit aside from miami. but if he is visiting k state, does that mean he isn't visiting miami at all?

Since signing day is coming closer, when you do you think we'll know if were getting a visit or not?

there's no telling but if he hasn't said yes or no by the 29th then that should tell you no, he isn't.

According to ESPN, Oregon is Brown's leader despite still being a Miami-FL commitment.

How the heck can you be committed to one team, but say that another team is your favorite?????

Sounds like this kid is a moron!!!

when a kid commits to a school, he only really decommits if he knows he doesnt want to go to that school anymore. If he wants to visit other schools and he is still considering the school he is commited to, its dropped to a soft verbal.

ESPN is the moron...not Brown.

So every recruit that's a soft verbal is a moron? Your the moron. It benefits us for him to be a soft verbal. If he was solid then we wouldn't have a chance. What a moron!!!

You obviously didn't understand my post.

How can a kid logically say that he is commmitted to Miami, but Oregon is his favorite?

It is not logical.

I understand the premise of a "soft verbal commitment."

But telling people that you are committed to one school, but favor another makes no sense.

Bottom line if Oregon is his favorite, then he is not committed to Miami.

By the way, you can kiss my :shaking2:

This is a little weird. If you are a verbal to another school (Solid or Soft) how can another school be in the lead? If that is the case you are not committed to the first school.
