Bryce Brown Announcement

Neither the Miami or the Oregon fans like their chances after that comment from Crabtree. I guess they aren't too proud of their S&C coaches.

1. We're proud of those coaches. Campbell has put a number of RB's into the NFL. His religion was apparently a factor in recruiting Jonathan Stewart. Some believe that may come in to play with Brown as well.

2. Being in shape and having good technique will happen anywhere. Being on a losing team will not.

Hope your boy, Kelly can coach cause you'll be seeing Bryce Brown, but he'll be in an orange uniform.

I think most people not in Tennessee will bet on the Ducks in that one, regardless of who gets Brown.

Here it is guys. Exclusive video from VSPN's interview of Wheaton4Prez.

lol. You guys can't seem to get enough of that site.

Thank you NicktheWheatonFan. Got a kick out of this.

Anyone know if there will be video coverage of his announcement? I did find an audio link from KGSO. Sorry if it's been mentioned. Didn't feel up to looking through the entire thread.

Much appreciated!!

You better save the link, because there is a chance the board isn't going to respond from about 1:45 until he makes his decision....I have a feeling we are going to have a lot of members on! I would guess more then Charles.

That's still a couple years away. By then I think we'll be the favorite going in to that game. We'll have a decent (better than last year) season this year and then be a little better in 2010. Regardless, it's way too early to be saying that most people outside of Tennessee will consider you the favorite.

Yep, thanks I already have the site minimized for later.

I hope BB comes to the Hill because he is a talent but I also think it will boost are recruiting for next year as well. The best thing to come out of this today is it will finally be over.

After reading that crabrtree article, I love our chances when he talks about how important the position coach, and S&C coach are to his decision... Eddie Gran and Mark Smith will be the reason we get Brown.

Larry Porter 3 time National Recruiter of the year RB coach at LSU

Tommy Moffit, The Best S&C in the Nation.. has won 4 National Titles.

I don't think LSU gets Brown, but LSU wins this discussion on paper.... Who has the best relationship with him? None of us really know at this point..

I do know that Porter has made contact all last year with Brown

I have a feeling it's Tennessee...for his school choice...

But I also, sort of expect a shock pick...the entire recruiting Saga suggest that is going to happen...

Meh... Having two coaches on staff that have produced 4 running backs to the NFL in very recent memory, and a S&C coach that is considered top 5 in the nation, and has spent time in the NFL is more impressive on paper.

Something tells me Brown isn't too concerned with titles and accolades such as trophies or crystal balls. It seems as if he is looking for his best route to the NFL, and how he will be prepared for it along the way...

At this point it is anti climactic and worn out (IMO). Welcome to UT if he chooses us, good luck to him if he chooses somewhere else.

hey guys...im gonna be running down to the kansas hall of fame here in wichita (planning on doing it if schedule permits). i will fill you in on anyhting going on real time if i can. it is going to be an interesting day today in wichita. the buzz around town is no buzz at all...it really isn't being discussed (no surprise in b-ball country). plus i think the fact that he isn't picking kansas or k-state means we have a mum crowd. when i watched the kid this year i had no idea he would be considering tennessee at the end. he is amazing to watch live...it is sort of a surreal feeling...here is to BB and the Volunteers...Go Vols!!!!

Don't worry with keeping us up with real time updates....You just make sure he is wearing TN Orange when he pulls that cap out!

"We know the reason why he made the decision that he made. But he needed to be reaffirmed in what we were seeing and how we thought the decision needed to be made. We looked at certain aspects of what we felt is going to fit him, and why that particular situation would fit him not just football sense, but also in an emotional sense. We all needed to make sure he could lay his head down at night and feel comfortable.

"We're confident after visiting together as a family, he's found that right place."

But what about LSU.... I don't believe he will go there, but I am just playing devils advocate - they have a great RB coach and S+C program???
