Bryce Brown Announcement

We may run the ball this year more than is normal for CLK's offense. I say this because I've seen our QB play. Hopefully things will improve dramatically, but if not.....

Definitely. In order for CLK's offense to be good in the passing game, the Vols will HAVE TO be able to run the ball.. That will setup their play-action plays. I saw a LOT of play action on the Friday scrimmage.

BTW, did you get added as a MOD? Congrats if so! :)

if Bryce Brown is going to commit? Has he given a date that he will decide? And for those of you that went to the practice, was he involved with the coaches and/or drills or anything like that?

IMO, Oregon wouldn't be a 'bad' choice, it's just that Tennessee is a better choice. I realize I have a biased opinion being a Vol fan. Looking at it logically, I see him getting serious playing time this year, starting next year and by the time his third year roles around, IMO, UT is going to be VERY good (= much national spotlight). This will set him up for a monster year and high first round status if not numero uno. If I was his manager/mentor, these are the things I would putting in his ear when it comes to the 'business' side of things.

We know Monday at like 1. And no he wasn't in drills. He just hung out on the sidelines with a hostess and other recruits. I think our RB coach was talking to him idk tho wasn't there.

Fair enough, you were the only one to actually give me an educated response. Best of luck with your team. And I guess we'll see where Bryce ends up in just over 36 hours.

Can't wait to face you guys. Time to go eat..

On the pure 'fun' side of things. Knoxville, Saturday night, national TV, 100,000+ in the stands, FL/GA/LSU/UA visiting.

I think I make my point..

I bet, I've never been to Tennessee, but that would be one stadium I'd want to visit before I day..

Just don't underestimate Autzen though like so many do.

I think that him showing up in Knoxville this weekend has to make us the favorite in this race. Does everyone else agree or am I looking through orange glasses on this one? What is the word around the nation on where he will go? I watched his highlights the other day and must say that, at least on film, he seems to be the most talented runner that I've ever seen in high school. Does anyone know how fast he is in the 40?

Autzen stadium has about half the seats that Neyland does. Oregon has only signed 3 four star players in this years recruiting class. Looking at Eugene's weather forecast, it is going to rain there ten days in a row. What reason would the number 1 player in the country logically have to go to Oregon over Tennessee/Miami/LSU? I can't think of one.

Im not sure how good looking the girls are in Eugene, but I know for sure that Knoxville and Baton Rouge are filled with beautiful women.

I wouldn't. I admit I know very little about Oregon.

Neyland is special. Hope you get to see it. Best of luck to both our teams..

It may be smaller, but Autzen gets just about as loud as Neyland does on gameday.

And Oregon girls can definitely hold their own.

His 40 time, according to scout.com, is 4.40

But 40 times taken in high school are not reliable. Plus, in my opinion, 40 times are overrated. Peter Warrick ran a 4.60 forty, and he was one of the best college WR's of all time. The more appealing part of Bryce Brown is his ability to break tackles and his physical running.

But, does anyone think it was a coincidence that Bryce Brown came to visit UT, and then Kiffin decided to make Friday's practice open to the public??? Hmm.....sounds like he opened it so Brown could watch without having a violation to me...

Possible, but he's on the road and in the air today. I will definitely have an exclusive after he signs.

Awesome! I'm looking forward to it and proud to know a VN regular has an inside track with BB.

Hope you don't go postal.... oops... I meant premium, on us.
