Bryce Brown Announcement

I'm thinking wheaton has two PC's up and running today for his final BB push.

However, the likelihood that BB is reading internet posts this weekend is very, very low.

Too little, too late, perhaps. If you'd only done the two PC strategy earlier, you might have changed the trajectory of college football.

Oh well... nice try.

Have a good weekend! :)

Unfortunately, I'm not wheaton4prez's counterpart - although I do know him from other circles...

No, this drama simply entertains me. If Oregon doesn't get BB, I'd rather him go to Tennessee, because we get to play each other, so it'd tie this whole brouhaha together.

I do feel that UT is the team to beat at this point, I mean it's obvious that all arrows point in that direction, but I also wouldn't be surprised if he chose Oregon on Monday, just from everything I know from following this saga.

But I also think it's a little premature to "count it" for UT, too.

They know that at any second, their program is going to go back to being irrelevant like it was for years, so they have to make sure they get everything in while they think people are listening.

That's impartiality at its best.

VSPN just said that in his opinion that we are the favorite and that too much stuff is lining up for us not to be happy monday. just a quick summery

Thanks for the post, Matt. Still sounds positive for us.

Hope we can get to 500 posts on this thread and the Mods will merge this thread with the original to make it 10K for BB.

That's highly debatable. I would mention looking at this most recent year's bowl outcomes, Pac-10 didn't lose... But I'm dropping this one, because there is WAY too much subjectivity involved in a debate like this, besides, this is a debate about Oregon v. Tennessee, not Pac-10 v. SEC.

Nah, it's not really debatable at all. The debate for the 2nd best conference between the USC-Conference and the Big-12 is a better argument. But, in my opinion, the USC-Conference loses that debate too, but at least it's close...

Are you still talking? Where's that ignore function people are always talking about?

Oh wow, Here we go....[/QUOTE]

I'm not about to turn this thread into a UT vs. Oregon one again. Funny that he gets a reasonable response, but that's the user he wants to ignore. Or perhaps not so funny. I guess if you root for Oregon a little bit of irrationality must come along with that.

The only reason we are still talking about Oregon as it relates to Bryce Brown is because we have two Oregon homer trolls on our board. They have been out of this one for awhile.

Have we ordered a big crown yet, and an ermine robe, if he decides to sign with us? Good grief: This kid will have invested so much in whichever school that he chooses that he'll probably wake up one morning with a ear ache--or god forbid that he and "lacey" go their separate ways-- and decide to transfer. Make a decision already.

I could tell him from personal experience not to go to a school just because your gf is going there. It doesn't work out so well..

That definitely is true.

I should have gone to UT. Chose Georgia Tech. Love Tech, but it does not compare OVERALL with Tennessee.

Heard from a source that Coach O reeled this one in and its a done deal. Not sure how good the source is though.

Everyone is making too big of a deal out of Bryce's facial expressions. IMO he is a very serious guy when it comes to football. With the intensity of the practice...what do you expect. Maybe if he was making clown balloons and dancing around, everyone would think he was having a good time. He was wearing an official Tennessee Adidas parka and looked to be all business. Thats enough for me to believe we are a MAJOR player!!!

People don't walk around smiling all of the time. Nothing wrong with that, but it's not natural. I agree. He is a serious guy and he was focused and trying to not draw attention. Nothing more than that.

What was Oregons recruiting class ranked for this year?
Posted via VolNation Mobile

Yes... because since we don't pull in top 10 classes year in and year out, we're irrelevant.

You are seriously delusional if you think Oregon is going to drop off anytime soon because of recruiting rankings.

I thought it was funny that people made such a big deal about him not smiling too! They're candid photos, not like he knew to smile or not, and I can't trust anyone who smiles for no reason.

People who do walk around and smile all the time are weird, but they're out there.

I'm sure O will not get any worse, but it's a safer bet to assume O will not be a perennial powerhouse.

Isn't OreGONE part of that conference with USC and everybody else?
