Bryce Brown Announcement

I agree rmsmith...this staff sure isnt joking around. You def wont see a repeat of players laughing(Briscoe) when we are behind. Bryce fits the mold of this current staff. After last years debacle..we finally have disc:clap:ipline and he understands that.

Unfortunately, I'm not wheaton4prez's counterpart -

But I also think it's a little premature to "count it" for UT, too.

I understand your points with one exception: what, on earth, could be 'unfortunate' about that? :p

j/k wheaton....

This is as close to a Duck analogy as I care to get....

I don't like counting any chickens before they hatch, so I do understand your point. It just seems like this hatchling has all but broken out of his Big Orange egg shell.

Yes... because since we don't pull in top 10 classes year in and year out, we're irrelevant.

You are seriously delusional if you think Oregon is going to drop off anytime soon because of recruiting rankings.

Easy killer... I was asking a simple question.

Drop off? From where? 2nd in the conference of 1.

We don't believe the drop off will be solely tied to recruiting. It will be because you have returned to your historical norm. Everyone eventually goes there. UO is no different. Sucking is in your genes and can't be diluted enough to ever really get away from your roots.

Hate to get back on topic, but, what is the significance of tomorrows interview with Brown and Crabtree?

Okay... can someone update me... I just read these four pages, but couldn't seem to catch up and the old thread seems to be gone.

What is going on with Bryce today? And what is this media arrangement I read in a post all about?

Is the LSU rumor a rumor or has it been confirmed?

Thanks in advance.

Bryce himself said he isn't going to LSU to someone he has no reason to lie to. Jeremy Crabtree has an interview with him tomorrow. That may be what you're referring to.

Don't know who this guy is or where his sources are coming from, but he says LSU is front runner for Brown...here is the link.

CollegeFootballTalk.com - BRYCE UNEXPECTEDLY POPS ONTO ROCKY TOP

"Brown to choose between four schools: Tennessee, LSU, Kansas State and Oregon. While Brown says he’s not leaning toward any school right now, the word on the street is that LSU is currently the front-runner."

I was able to look thru the old thread just can't post. Perhaps the answers you seek is still in that thread.

Thank you. So nothing has really happened and he is going to do a Rivals interview tomorrow. He will probably down play everything.

it was closed due to getting close to 10k posts. Mod said topics get slow once close to that number.

No doubt it will be something along the lines of "I have no leader." "I'm gonna sit down with my family tonight and let god guide me." No real indication of where he's leaning.

I have a couple major problems with this...

As you said this was his first post!

Didn't spell Bryce's name correctly!

And why in the world would he silent on TUESDAY...makes no sense to me.

yeah the spelling makes me curious as well.. although my father still says Public instead of Publix. And he's been going there for 15 years.

Rumor on Scout that Brown gave the coaches a silent commitment. (sounds familiar....) From a guy with only one post so take it FWIW.

Scout.com: Another Bryce Brown Rumor...get it while its hot!

My guess would be that they got wind that Bryce was visiting UT over the weekend and that's what they were excited about. It most likely got misunderstood by someone with the brain power of an actual gopher and passed along as he's coming to UT as a commitment. At least that's my 2 cents worth of guesstimation.

Hmm, but then again, who would want to tell Kiffin "no" for fear of being told that all he would ever amount to would be a gas station attendant... Right?

Oh yah, and I won't be able to read Sab's responses, but that's because I am asking everyone else this

Hubbs just said it seems the finalists are Oregon and UT, he doesn't have a guess but wouldn't be suprised if he picked UT.
