That's obviously fake. As we know from all the mental giants on this board, Billy Gillispie is the only coach in America who drinks and Bruce can do no wrong. That's probably Holy Water in that cup.http://www.thedirty.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/03/rip44gpedfergwe4d-1-copy.jpg

Fine, if he leaves for North Carolina, Duke, UCLA, Kansas, or the NBA, you win. Otherwise, he'll be leaving for a job worse than the one Billy Clyde will have, and I win. Fair enough?
I thought finishing 12-4 in the SEC with the dreck he had last year was a very good job. Did he do a good job this year? Not particularly. I defend him because he plays a style of basketball that wins over the long haul, as opposed to a trashy ratball system that nobody has ever won anything of significance with without tweaking it beyond recognition. No, not really. Unless you consider Tennessee's basketball prestige at #6 nationally.
Leaving for a better job is not the same as leaving for a job better than Kentucky. There's quite a difference between the stature of the two programs.
I can't understand why you continue to defend Gillespie? Do you think he's done a good job? I also don't understand why you are unable to debate him on his own merits without having to bring Pearl into every discussion.
It's been a long time since I brought up the fact that, despite an otherwise poor performance, Billy Clyde outcoached Pearl so badly this year that his bronzer began to run.I also don't understand why you are unable to debate him on his own merits without having to bring Pearl into every discussion.

Yeah, that's just a crazy reason. I should have been on the Mike Leach bandwagon. Gimmicky trash wins big so often. Look at all the championships Pearl's boss won. Then, compare that to the guy Billy Clyde cut his teeth working with.Lol. So you stick up for him as a great coach (despite the fact that he doesn't seem to be winning) because you approve of his style more...
