Butch is flashier and fun to follow. Bielema is boring. Bielema is a better all around coach and better with the x's and o's.
Obviously both Butch Jones and Bret Bielema have struggled to get their teams on track in year 5, but which coach is the biggest failure and which coach will return to coach their respective teams in 2018?
Bielema is 29-31 overall, 11-26 in the SEC
Butch Jones is 34-26 overall, 12-23 in the SEC
Butch Jones has arguably has had more talent to work with than has Bielema, according to recruiting averages.
Both Coaches are in year 4 at their respective schools, which coach has done the best job?
Why do we measure talent on high school ratings and not where NFL drafts players after they finish college? Seems like that would be more accurate barometer. Ark has more than held its own vs Tennessee in that comparison.
I have to go with the crew cut to the West with the hot wife and near identical record in a tougher division.
Sorry to all the Butch acolytes.

He beat Butch, thoughNo question it is Bielema.
Plays in the West and took over as difficult a situation as Jones.
Jones hasn't done anything when compared to other coaches in the SEC to earn the privilege to coach the Vols another season. He has done less with more than any coach in the conference other than possibly Sumlin. Only reason it's still even a discussion is the feckless leadership in Knoxville.
Are Bielema and Jones both, just mid to lower tier coaches in the SEC?
