Bret would be better if he didn't have that problem. It is a fact that people who throw up most of their food have a hard time focusing on tasks and relaying those tasks to others.

Butch Jones is 34-26 overall,
Butch Jones has arguably has had more talent to work with than has Bielema, according to recruiting averages.

Did Chaney leave Arkansas or did they run him off? That could be the difference between the two head coaches. We know what Butch did.

Ran him off. Pittman bailed too. Hard to see an advantage.

Not a Chaney fan. Still feel his natural tendency is to go pass happy. Bielema reigned him in for a year or so and after a rough first season, so has Smart. Common denominator is Pittman. They’re friends as well as colleagues, their one season at Tennessee together saw an improvement in the running game but he’d still go rogue at crunch time. Maybe they finally hit the formula.

Didn’t Butch lose to Arkansas a couple of season ago?

Plus, Butch had his two best teams during an unprecedented downward slide for the strength of the SEC East. Still couldn’t get it done.

On an unrelated note - does anyone else feel like vomiting when they see the stupid ESPN commercial where that one fool broadcaster is “going back to college” at Alabama?

Darn, it sucks being an irrelevant football program.

As bad as Brett Bielema's record is at Arkansas, it appears that Arkansas may retain him for another year.
Would it surprise you if the Vols do the same and retain Butch.......all hell would break loose, wouldn't it?:ermm:

Surprise? It actually would. And it would be a slap in the face to us all and the program and the players
