Well the Vols spent $2.1million ish on this investigation and Pruitts buyout is $12.6 million so I'd say the Vols definitely saved some money.I would be curious to know what the buyout total would be vs what UT has spent in legal fees to navigate this. Though we are operating under the assumption that a buyout would've ended the whole thing and UT would've been no worse for wear. Are we absolutely certain that our self-reporting was of our own doing and not just an attempt to get ahead of something that other programs were going to blow the whistle on us for anyway?
