Brent Hubbs on Donde Plowman

She's great, but she also had every opportunity to tell the NCAA to kick rocks when this all started, and that we were handling this as an internal issue. That's what LSU did with Will Wade when he was caught discussing how much he is paying recruits.

Every move she made was the right move, except that one.

LSU just argued their basketball case to the NCAA this week. So, let’s see how that goes for them. By bringing in the law firm, it allowed them to fire Pruitt with cause and save a bunch of money.

I would be curious to know what the buyout total would be vs what UT has spent in legal fees to navigate this. Though we are operating under the assumption that a buyout would've ended the whole thing and UT would've been no worse for wear. Are we absolutely certain that our self-reporting was of our own doing and not just an attempt to get ahead of something that other programs were going to blow the whistle on us for anyway?
Well the Vols spent $2.1million ish on this investigation and Pruitts buyout is $12.6 million so I'd say the Vols definitely saved some money.

Donde Plowman and I could have attended high school together. We did not.

It's the childish bit of me, I know, but every time I see this thread's title I want to shout, "tell him to get off! that's rude!"

Blonde Donde is the one who extended and raised Fulmer and Pruitt, actually signed those agreements, when there was no legitimate or business reason to do do, turned around 2 months later to hire the law firm to start the investigation, 6 months later fired Pruitt and Company, coddled Fulmer for another million dollars, she's worked very hard to make you forget her hands are all over this sordid mess.

Blonde Donde isn't as incompetent as Bev Davenport was, but she doesn't seem as capable and distinguished as Jack Reese was.
