Currie is trying to keep his job. That's understandable but the general feeling is he had a chance at Gruden and many people, boosters supposedly put a package together to attract Gruden but Currie simply shunned that bunch and bowed to Haslam and secretly attempted to get Schiano as a coach. So I guess it's a bare-fisted brawl taking place at this point and anything goes.

Heck for all I know UGA, UF,Bama could have people posting negative stuff in UT forums just making us look worse. I still think Currie should be replaced for attempting to bring Schiano in here without discussing it with a least a few people. That secrecy and the manner in which it was done is very telling. A professional at his job should have known better.

Rumor on Twitter that the deal was done but Brohm wanted to meet with his players before it was announced. Hyams story goes out, Brohm is now pissed and considering walking away from it.

I feel like houston kress's tweet from about 30 minutes ago was spot on. Everybody wants to listen to Tennessee, but after talking to John Currie they run for the hills.

This is another terrible hire.

Anyone notice that Jimmy is like two different people from the radio vs his Twitter . On the radio is calm conservative and up tight and a know it all.

On Twitter he’s like a gitty little school girl mouthing off to people , throwing rumors around.
