Another UVA type accusation from a young woman. As the Father of two daughters it disturbs me to know end that first you put yourself in these situations, but before everyone starts "knowing it all" just remember after AJ anyone would be a complete fool to put themselves in this situation. Everyone who talked to the girl at UVA said she was sincere only to find out the reverse. Just everyone put a lid on it until we know just how drunk or doped this young lady was. Ending careers is becoming a pastime. If it is true Von will pay the ultimate price.

Has the KPD released a blotter report of the Crime?
Is the only source of this on the this website with BREAKING News?
How did this Thread turn into a questioning of CBJ's coaching ability?
Why hasn't any reference to any particular football player been removed?

When you have players and kids involved, you can do your job exceptionally well and still have this crap happen.

Don't you think that CBJ addressed this numerous times to the team. Stating it could happen to them, after all he had plenty of examples or do you think he just ignored it and said nothing. Gimme a break.

Kids are going to make choices on their on and no matter what the circumstances or the consequences they are going to make poor choices some of the time.

JMO but, I believe his point was - There are college towns where crime seems to be swept under the rug.

There are college towns where crime is reported fairly in importance.

There are college towns where the media seems to become almost 'giddy' at potential scandal.

I believe the poster was implying, our media is the latter.

Not saying I agree, just that I believe that was posters intent. Possibly worthy of legit debate. Maybe because UT is the majority of our "big" stories.

I have news for you - your daughters will have sex with someone who isn't their husband at some point. In fact, it's quite likely that they'll have at least a couple of drunken one night stands with random men.

Hopefully, none of these men will be raping them. But if your own daughter was raped while drunk, would you continue to blame her for it - or might you suddenly consider the possibility that even women who drink don't deserve to be raped?

To Butch's credit, he has been quite good about dismissing players in this situation.

However, there's no question that there is a problem on this team. It isn't enough to react to rape accusations after the fact - Butch must do more to prevent them from happening. These have happened on his watch, and as much as I like and respect what he's done with the team, the consistent drumbeat of these problems falls at his feet and his alone.

Agreed and didn't Kiffin have an accident himself. DUI type event swept under the rug.

Dooley covered up quite a bit with players bad choices. Out of control.

Two coaches with a high tolerance level versus a coach with basically a zero tolerance level.
