Well... Hot Rod works for the AG so...

With an AG whom doesn’t have to run from doing his job Rods services are no longer requires plain and simple. And if I was his boss after that wiretap fiasco between Rod and my new boss I’d probably encourage Rod to go find himself somewhere else.

If the WH meeting happened it could be as simple as that. The acting AG has the reins. Your fate is in his hands now. If this meeting happened at all.

It's looking more and more like Donald Trump Jr is going to be indicted... if Trump is going to fire Mueller, he had better do it before that happens. The optics would be atrocious for him.

Neither. I just wanted to state that only a certain type of "special" would be viewing this firing and the possible Rosenstein firing with glee. You accuse some of assuming others are uneducated rubes while many of those very rubes are sitting there screaming "hey look, the shoe fits."

Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein is no longer overseeing special counsel Robert Mueller’s probe into Russian election meddling — following the resignation of Jeff Sessions.

Acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker will now oversee the investigation, a Justice Department spokeswoman said.

“The Acting Attorney General is in charge of all matters under the purview of the Department of Justice,” said spokeswoman Sarah Isgur Flores.

In a 2017 opinion piece, Whitaker called for Mueller to “limit the scope of his investigation.”

The investigation was being managed by Rosenstein because Sessions had recused himself.

I don't fault any President for firing a Cabinet member he can't get along with or has no confidence in. However if the acting AG or Sessions replacement tries to limit or interfere with Mueller I'm sure the House will be more than willing to take up the investigation. They will have access to all of Mueller's files and have subpoena power. I don't think the President wants that to happen since Nunes won't be running interference for him anymore.

Would explain putting the lackey in charge: 1) Jr. does the meeting to collude; 2) Lackey does article saying Mueller investigation gone too far; 3) put lackey in charge of Mueller; 4) when Mueller says indict Jr. for collusion, lackey intervenes and stops it on grounds that "I've been saying for a long time it went too far."

I believe I included myself in the uneducated rubes dept. according to you left leaning liberals . Only a liberal suffering from YDS would see this as anything but a boss firing an employee that wasn’t doing his job to his expectations , then automatically jump to him firing everybody to obstruct the investigation that every person in the country knows about and will see when it’s released. If you didn’t know JS was gone after the mid terms then you are slower than even I thought you were .
