No one is pinning their hopes on finding something. Millions are hoping something is found. I would say repubs. should be more concerned over what Trump is doing to their party. Look at the results among women, youth, educated, and suburban. Trump is creating the most divided electorate we've had in decades. GA is one percent away from turning blue. Check the demographics of how the GA vote broke down and then extrapolate the changing numbers of those demographics over the next two years.

I think she's right about this. If you recall, manafort's plea agreement was crafted to effectively be pardon proof.

Governorships are not de facto templates for presidential elections. If so, and by proxy, TN should have been solidly in the blue colum since 2002. It isn’t, and is actually swinging harder to the right. This election says more about the “deplorables” turning out than it does you communists. Obama’s approval was 6 points higher than Trump at this stage of his presidency—he netted -63
in the House and -6 in the Senate.

You should first look at what your party is doing to white men, white women, increasing number of blacks and people who work

Finally a liberal with the common sense instead of flailing arms and screeches of the horrible injustice of firing an underling that has zero to do with Mueller . I would guess mueller is done with the investigation unless something pops up he wants to look at . Trump can’t interfere with Mueller because everyone in the country has known what he’s been doing for almost two years , it’s not like Trump can hide anything and get away with it . I must say though , the lack of logical thought that comes from the Uber libs when Trump does something is just fun to watch . You guys are like a blob of goo that you find on a path in the woods , it’s just fun to poke you with a stick just to see what bubbles out .

People who work? Isn't that pretty much everyone? Historically low unemployment rates you know.
White women and people of color? Check the numbers.

Luther, I'm all for the parties balancing each other out, which is why I'm fine with the Dems winning the House, but I'm telling you, you are severely misguided here. "Millions" are not hoping something is found. Dems are hoping something is found. I think most, like me, just want the damn games to end and for politicians to go about doing their actual jobs rather than playing these grab ass political games. If you want Trump gone, run a better candidate in the next election. Problem solved. All the money and time being put into all these sham investigations is a waste of taxpayer money. Hell, Dems like to point out that the intelligence agencies found that Russia did tamper with the 2016 election. What's conveniently left out was the conclusion it didn't change the outcome.

Dems are not helping themselves with their vindictiveness. It baffles me how they do not see this. If they actually focused on issues rather than chasing Trump they could win supporters. As is, they're pushing voters away.

Couple of things;

I supported Trump long before he made it "big". Voted for him in the primary and than in the general. However I can not and will not support him if he tries to fire Mueller. He has to let this play out because if he tries to bury this it will look very bad. Personally I'm not worried about the investigation, if they had evidence of direct Trump collusion it would have come out before now he simply has to let the process play out. They may get some campaign staff to satisfy the demand for blood but Trump will come out of this clean.
