Breaking Bad on amc

Gilligan is not writing the material but he will play an integral part.

What's really exciting about the prequel is that we will most likely get more information on some key characters; Mike and Gus for example.

Yes, and the guy that wrote the episode that introduced Saul is the lead writer.

It will be interesting if the show is a success, and if so will they write it so that it ends with Saul's introduction to Walt.

BTW, your avatar really makes me angry because I was so looking forward to RE6 and then it sucked. So every time you post I am reminded of that game once again. Thanks. haha

I'll admit... I'm fearful of reading this thread so I probably won't.

Didn't Hank spill all on how the show ends?

I'd rather not read it if that's the case. I've been excited to see what happens next in a lot of shows but this might take the cake for series finales. I watch shows like Game Of Thrones, Burn Notice, Weeds, Dexter, The Walking Dead etc. This show lost my appeal for a bit as it became repetitive. But the final season(/half season)... I've been really caught up in it. Not only do I need to see how it ends but good job on the misdirection. Making you think Walt wants Jesse dead. Making you think Jesse knows Walt cares for picking that spot and their eye contact. Staring down the barrel of guns... this show is doing it all down the stretch. Whoever is pulling all of the strings to make it this way is doing a good job imo. And having not read other comments in fear of spoilers, I wouldn't doubt that everyone else thinks it sucks.

Hopefully I'm not in the minority. I've seen dull finishes but this one has me wanting to see more. They almost had me believing that Hank's partner was going to shoot him and be under Walt's payroll before the goon squad showed up. Show has definitely rebounded from what I had considered to be a "stale" period.

What about Walt’s gun…he dropped it and then backed up to Hank, don’t remember anyone retrieving it.

Jesse hates Todd because he killed the kid; the Nazis have Todd to cook for them after being trained by Walt, but what if someone puts a bullet in Todd’s head? Then it’s only Walt and/or Jesse to cook.

If Hank and Gomez are both killed and left at the shot out scene it would add credibility to Walt’s black mail story that Hank was the king pin, drug deal gone bad, and Walt missing also, that is if Maria gives someone the DVD.

Really have no idea how the Skylar and Maria thing is going to work out.

I also think that Lydia is more important than she has been letting on

Gomie retrieved it.

I thought I wanted Hank dead but the shootout scene left me conflicted. His job is to put away the dealers and he is just performing his duties. Walt calls in nazi hitmen to do his dirty work? If Hank does go out (I don't think he will) I hope he takes a couple with him. Gomie is likely a goner and that's too bad since he was pretty funny

I don't think Hank dies in the shootout either. That would leave it in Maries hands of going to the authorities like she originally wanted. I don't want it to play out that way.

I could see the blackmail video on Hank surfacing if this is the case, but it doesn't tie into the flash forward of Walt's house being vandalized.

I just read on grantland the idea of spinoffs for great tv shows. One he suggested was called "Cereal Killers" set 10-15 years in the future about Brock and Walt jr (now going by Flynn Black) going around the country killing people to cope with the damage walter white caused them.

I would watch this show.

I really don't think this show can do much wrong with any ending they come up with. Hell Walt could hit snort a 8-ball of the aqua marine stuff and go out like Tony Montana and I wouldn't be disappointed.

I had known that one for a while. But I saw Skylar on an episode tonite, that was news to me.

You must have been watching TBS, I saw the same episode. I had seen that episode probably about 10 times before but never realized that was Skylar. I even yelled for my wife to come look.

I knew Cranston had the memorable role as the dentist but I never knew she had been on an episode.

dunno if this has been posted as i'm not reading this thread since i haven't watched this weeks episode yet.

Yeah Joking bad was great. Having Cranston and Paul in the audience, and him throwing the pizza was just brilliant.

Yeah I need to change it. Resident Evil is my favorite video game series, and while I didn't totally hate it, RE6 certainly didn't live up to the hype. Why they made it a Gears of War clone is beyond me. I liked Leon and Ada's games, but the other 2 were horrible.

Supposedly Capcom is going back to the "roots" for RE7 but that's what they said for RE6. I think they just need to reboot the series.

I was 12 when I got the REmake on GCN. one of the best looking games at the time and is still gorgeous. One of the last mediums, tv, movie, book, video game, to truly creepy me out or scare me at parts. Atmosphere of that mansion can never be replaced. and the corniness of the voice acting was flawless.

You mean Walt and not Hank right? Also, I don't think Walt has any leverage at the moment. He is in handcuffs and surrounded by guys with heavy artillery. His only hope of escaping from the nazis is Lydia, imo. She wants a better product that is blue. Walt can provide that if she can get him out of the clutches of the nazis. I just can't see a scenario where he can say I'll do a few cooks and walk away from these guys at the moment. Especially if Jesse gives up to the nazis that all Walt's money is buried under their feet. Just some random thoughts to pile on to the speculation.

Yes, meant to write Walt instead of Hank.

I don't think Jesse would be able to to just run away. Even if he took off running, he couldn't get very far and being a pretty open desert area, they would be able to find him rather easily; then again Todd's group don't seem like the brightest bulbs.

I do think it will be Walt somehow negotiates Jesse getting away, but I can also see Todd's group shooting him in front of Walt which may enrage Walt more.

At this point if Todd and Lydia die I think I'll be content. Todd especially needs one between the eyes.

Jesse has no choice really but to run, unless like you said something else transpires. He knows Walt wants him dead and that the nazi's are there to kill him.

Jesse is a POS...he shouldve just gotten out when he could. He spits on Walt and yells come on ***** while Walt is handcuffed....gimme a break. He knew what he was getting into, he was a dealer, manufacturer before Walt came along. Not exactly a honorable occupation, lol.

Honestly, not only do I not like it but I'm not buying into the whole Jesse turning on Walt story line. It's just not fitting of Jesse's character. Jesse shoots the other cook in the face in cold blood, his girlfriend OD's and dies, and some other guy who wasn't Walt shot the kid and just now Jesse is losing it?

To those bringing up the dead junkie girlfriend...
So what! Walt was right the entire time he was telling Jesse to dump her because she would only cause problems and probably get them caught. Not to mention she was bringing Jesse down with her to chase the dragon. She OD'd on her own and Walt just decided not to intervene with Darwin's natural process.

This, completely. Jesse wouldn't admit it even now because he was in "love" (and we all do stupid things when those chemical processes are going on as well, much worse than meth can do to you), but had Walt saved her? Jesse would probably be dead by now. Walt may have done a bad thing, but he did it to save his best friends life that time (and any possible gains were just bonuses really).
