Breaking Bad on amc

I thought the initial figure was 3 months for 3 million then he split that with Jessie. So 1.5 million. But I know they renegotiated at some point. And I'm not sure how long he has even been working for Gus

I am not sure on the time frame he has worked either, nor can i recall exactly what the del was in terms of money. There still must be some tied up in the laundering, etc. But for Walt there just was not enough cash on hand. I can't wait to see how this latest dilemma plays out. We have only had several seasons of build up to get us to this point. I for one am on edge when I think about what may go down.

Remember that Walt and Skyler paid all of Hank's medical bills themselves.

Hank's medical, 800k for carwash, and 600k+ to Beneke. I'd have to go back and watch season 3 to get an idea of how much he had. But I'd say the 3 above probably cover's most of it.

He did renegotiate another figure with Gus at a later time, but I don't know how much or if it was paid.

I don't understand how they got so low on money

Let's see........Car Wash for 800k, Car for Walt Jr. which he torched, another car for Walt Jr., he has his own apartment, Hank's medical bills, Skylar gave Ted 600k, etc.

Edit: Deeble beat me.

Not very long, the entire series has taken place in less than a year (so far).

Can't wait for Sunday.

Aaron Paul was fantastic tonight. The scene with him and Walt was top notch.

I still can't beleive there were some in here last season saying the show had already mostly run it's course. The last few episodes have made for some great entertainment.

sucks that there is only one more episode to go this season, and then we have to sit on our hands for the next 8-10 months listening to how awesome mad men is until the last season starts.

Great ep, it was tense throughout the whole episode. I thought someone was going to get sniped on Hanks front porch. Really good setup for the finale.

Mad Men is awesome, but once Breaking Bad is over it might hold the title of Best Tv show of all time, IMO. This is an all around brilliant show.

I was about to crap myself when Gus was in the parking garage almost looking right at Walt across the street. That scene was intense, as were the scenes with Jess and Walt at Walt's house, and Jesse and Gus at the hospital. Lots of intensity and story manipulation to get the perfect season finale set up.

I kept waiting for Walt to look back through the bincolulars only to see Gus zoomed in for a closeup staring right at him.

Still not sure how he knew something was wrong with the car, but I guess that's why it's TV.

Just watched the first two episodes of season one...wow.

Really like what I saw.

I'll warn you not to read too much of this thread. There are a few posts that will be spoilers. But, otherwise, enjoy. It has been my favorite show to date (tied with Dexter actually), and it is well worth the time to go through and watch from the beginning.

I watched the pilot last night. I got so bored I skipped around. Guess I might force myself to endure a couple more episodes before I make final judgment.

Breaking bad is the best show thus far on amc. period. It deserves much more respect than it gets. As for it being the greatest show of all time I still won't say it beats "The Wire." Breaking Bad could certainly be in my top 5 drama series when it is all said and done. It is certainly in good company, as it should be.

The Wire is the greatest show ever. Period. But, Breaking Bad is easily in my top five.

Well what happens now? I have no idea. Gus is dead. Lab destroyed. All major players dead except for Jesse, Walt, and Mike. It just sucks we have to wait until next summer to find out.
