Breaking Bad on amc

A Steven Bauer sighting! Great episode and I loved the back story on Gus, as well. Hank may be in the crosshairs once again with his snooping around without the backing of the DEA.

***Minor spoilers in this post***

I was thinking Gus would just go into his buddies office with the DEA and say, "hey, I found this thing on my car, do you know anything about it?" I guess he wants to handle his own business.

I did find it kinda cool to see that Gus went through the same transition as Walt. I mean, Gus was just this honest hard working guy that decided to sell meth, and then he got caught up with the Mexican drug cartel. Or at least that's the way it seemed, until the Mexican cartel boss said "the only reason you're still alive, is because I know who you are." That kinda changed things.

Minor spoiler also**********

Gus it too smart. He'd rather take the tracker off his car when he goes somewhere incriminating and leave it on for normal business. So in 1 or 2 weeks when Hank wants to get it back, it shows nothing. Sicking the DEA on Hank doesn't mean he'd back off. Proving Hank wrong at his own game would be more likely to get him off his back.

The division is complete. Their relationship was one of the best things about this show. Sad to see it end.

Walt is in major trouble now. Jesse was the only person who could keep him informed of what Gus was doing and now that line of information is broken. Walt's paranoia could ultimitely lead to his death. But who knows with this show. Not the best of the season but a great episode nonetheless.

Your right about the division, but my gut tells me when Jesse and Mike are down in Mexico, Walt will somehow have to come to the rescue. The scene about Gus's past and how the cartel will kill the ones who are not valuable. If Walt is able to show the cartel that he is valuable then Gus may be the one killed by the cartel. I would also add weight to that prediction with the heat on Gus from Hank. The cartel may very well view Gus as the weak link. Seems like the cartel wants Gus gone as soon as possible anyways with the war about to erupt and how he has played his cards in his past towards the cartel. Just a thought, but again with this show you really never can tell until we all watch.

I for real yelled "No NOT MIKE!" in the last 30 seconds. He's my favorite character on the show.

Jesse went straight up gangster on that poor sap. Now is Jesse's chance to kill Gus and Mike. Mike is wounded and Gus is sick from the poison. Jesse is in the driver's seat both literally and figuratively.

At this point I don't see him doing it. He could, but I wouldn't be surprised if there is a little loyalty to Gus after this. Gus could have let the cartel have Jesse. I know there's more to it than just that, but I bet Jesse feels a little "loved" as a result of this.

Yeah, you're probably right. I'm just trying to put myself in his shoes. Not that I would ever kill anybody in real life, but if I were a meth cooking punk who had already killed a few people, and the two most dangerous and unpredictable people in my life were injured/vulnerable in the car with me, the thought would cross my mind several times.

You may be right though. Jesse is a headcase. Who knows what he'll do. It was obvious he didn't like Mexico thing from the start. He may be pissed he wasn't informed.

I just think Gus and Mike will be around for a while longer.

For those who were waiting for the intensity, here it is. This is going to be incredible. Jesse may need to use that poison ciggy he has been carrying to save Walt.

That was one of the most intense endings to a TV show I've ever watched. This show continues to amaze.

I don't understand how they got so low on money

I know. Wasn't Walt making like a mil a week or something. My figure may be wrong on that. I know Skylar said something about that when she first found out about Walt cooking. Then they bought the car wash for close to a mil and then she spent over 600 thousand on that doucher that ended up killing himself on his rug tripping incident in this last episode. Skylar must have been pumping some serious money into fake cars being washed. But surely he had more than 1.6 million earned. Unless most of that is still being processed through Saul and that operation. I imagine that is just all of the money he had on hand.

I thought the initial figure was 3 months for 3 million then he split that with Jessie. So 1.5 million. But I know they renegotiated at some point. And I'm not sure how long he has even been working for Gus
