Breaking Bad on amc

BB returned to its biggest ratings ever with 2.6 million viewers. It was up 30% from the season 3 premiere.

It was a combination of things. Victor said he was spotted at the crime scene so he didn't exactly help his cause much. Plus I think Gus was wanting to scare the living **** out of walt and jesse after what had happened. He had to remind them who they were working for.

Scared the **** out of me. That was one of the most disturbing scenes I have ever watched on television.

At first I thought it was due to he had some punk who knew Walt's recipe. Gale he could control and trust. He pretty much knows Walter isn't going to work for a competitor.

But Victor? Not a chemist. Just a hired gun who now claimed to know the secret recipe to the best meth in the world.

But Gus didn't know that till he walked in and saw Victor cooking. So I'm leaning towards being spotted at the crime scene since Mike asked him about it.

And also to send message about power. Walt neutered Gus by killing Gale. Walt had the power position and Gus wanted him to know who was in control.

^ This.

This season will be about a struggle for dominance between Walt and Gus (obviously). Gus still has the upper hand but Walt keeps getting darker and more powerful. This show is so great its ridiculous.

Thoughts on last night's episode? Will Walt's attempt to form an alliance with Mike prove a wise move? Judging by how he got punched in the face, the short term payoff doesn't look like it.

Whoa whoa whoa read half your post. Not sure if there were spoilers, but gimme a chance to get to the DVR!

Jesse is off the deep end right now. It will be interesting to see what happens with the Hank situation, also.

Yea, I know. At first I thought it was he'd pretty much accepted he's gonna be killed at some point. So why let anything get to you. Just have fun, party, do whatever.

But I'm not sure.

I've never been a fan of Marie, but i've felt bad for her in the last couple of episodes.

I've never liked her either. She's the one character that to me, doesn't really have a direction. She's just there.

Once Mike got more screen time in season 3, he became my favorite character.

Solid episode, Jesse is clearly struggling with the aftermath of the Gale shooting. It was good seeing Jim Beaver make an appearance.

So....what about the blood on Mike's finger? (nothing else happens in that scene)

Did he kill Gus??

He said "Youll never see him again"

I'm pretty sure that's supposed to be blood from Victor's throat being slit by Gus.

He said you'll never see him again because Gus knows there can be no trust between him and Walt. I mean, he ordered Walt and Jesse to be killed. I doubt they'd be able to have a decent conversation like they had in earlier shows. Walt's actions since Gus killed Victor hammer that home.

Although I do think Mike is questioning his loyalties a bit.

Yeah I don't really think Gus is dead. He's too much of a main character in the story right now.

Just went back and watched and had forgotten about the blood on Mike's finger. Also, Mike said "Weigh it again, new policy".

It just makes ya think. This show is amazing.

Starting to get a little tired of nothing really happening until the last ten minutes.

Still love the show, but it has slowed down too much. It looks like from the previews, that next week things start to heat up.

If you told me in season 2 that Skyler eventually ends up helping Walt in the drug trade I would told you that you're crazy. I'm surprised they have gone that route with her character recently.

What I don't get is if she is worried about a $350 bottle of champagne how do they plan on explaining how they came up with $800k for a car wash?

And Jessee is falling apart. If he doesn't get his act together he won't last.

Bill Burr is the man. So random to see him on the show, though.

I don't know what was the more disturbing scene involving Jesse, the solo go cart race or back at his house tossing money in a dude's mouth for fun. Either way he is having to surround himself in chaos in order to not completely lose it.

Seemed the same way last week. I think the preview for "next week" is showing highlights for the entire season.
