Freaking stupid. I lose faith more every day in this group of "coaches". You don't pull a good QB, yes simms is a good QB, for an unproven freshman. Soooooooooo STUPID.
Giving Bray PT as a freshmen is to give him confidence. After he throws a pick and they pull him. And they WILL pull him, he will be worse off than before.
The win/loss doesn't reflect it but he is a good QB. Give him an experienced offensive line and receivers and you'll see a different Simms.

Is Simms the problem? No. But is he better than Bray? Let it play out. Those worried about his confidence should delve a little into the history of good qb's. Most deal with mistakes rather well. And if they can't deal with it Im sure the coaches would rather know sooner rather than later.

I don't like this move at all - I don't think Simms is our problem. I'm reminded too much of the "Eric will start, but Rick will play" period. If we're experimenting for future benefit, as opposed to winning this game this week, I may just watch at home.
David who? Haha. Not even close to the same situation. Ever hear of the Peyton Manning experiment. That one worked out OK.
